So are we going to ever address the fact that AMD completely shafted support for GPUs older than Volcanic Islands even though Sea Islands and Southern Islands are also GCN GPUs? I literally get no display output blacklisting the radeon module and forcing the AMDGPU module on my 8000 series based APU. Are we going to ignore the fact AMD is bigger kikes than Intel or are we just going to continue LARPing otherwise?

Maybe your display would work if you weren't a retarded nigger https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/ATI_FAQ

No you dumb nigger. The AMDGPU module is never actually used if you have a pre-Volcanic Islands GPU. It's loaded, but never used, the Radeon driver is used instead. The only way to enable true AMDGPU support for Sea Islands/Southern Islands is with a compile-time kernel option and its known to be experimental and buggy, and also doesn't actually address the issue. The kikery goes well before the AMDGPU driver was even a thing too. As the official proprietary drivers will kernel panic on the latest kernels. AMD just completely shafted a huge chunk of their users on GNU/Linux

I have a Hawaii card (R9 390) and I went through several botched Linux installs and many hours of troubleshooting only to find out later that a reasonable solution is practically nonexistent with virtually no official response/solution from AMD (that I'm aware of). I miss Linux.

>lunix kernel menuconfig still has a 3dfx DRI option

This is why FOSS will always remain superior to proprietary cattleware.
