Fucking this. I had the fortune once to get a job at a newly-opened branch office of a large corpo. We were a tiny, practically self-contained team doing our own job and the feel was very startupish. Then the branch grew, and within a year-and-a-half we became a full-blown corpo hell. I quit shortly thereafter, having been buried under a heap of reports, request forms and other widgets made of red tape. I still remember my first year there very fondly though.
In my whole decade+ dev career it was the best job I ever had, as well as the worst one.

Everything. Keyboards were made the way they were for decades with ergonomy in mind, and were optimized for touch typists while normie plebs had to adapt.
