So I've been going to 8chan for quite a while now (2-3 years now), and before that had frequented 4chan before being banned there for bullshit involving the word nigger.

I have also been a pretty big fan of politics, nation sims, and Star Wars. This is where Star Wars Diplomacy comes in. It's a Star Wars Nation Simulator, where you can pretty much do anything, depending on how you go through with it.

Currently we are in round 26, on the second year of it. It is an Imperial Round, starting in 18 BBY, a year after the Empire was formed (we go by old canon). The Imperial Senate is still around, but so are the Separatist Holdouts. The Imperial Military is huge but still primarily based on the organization and units of the former Grand Army of the Republic.

Now, you may be asking, how do we play? It's quite simple really. Make an account, and apply for a planet. Read the guides on how to RP there, which involves sending actions. Remember, you're a planets Government, Imperial Moff, or some other large body of governance.

So come join one of the older Star Wars RP communities. There are a few liberals there, but overall, many of the guys there are Conservatives or Fascists (there's like 3 of us).

Well regardless, we don't go by Disney-canon, but instead utilize the old canon fully. There is no Jakku, there is no Snoke, there is no Rey Sue, etc.

Actually we don't. We did it one round, and it was a shit show. So we avoid the Vong Wars, and if we want to go legacy era, we go post-Vong or straight to 40 ABY.

Currently, we're in the second year of the round, and the Separatist Holdouts are getting their shit pushed in by the Empire, having lost four worlds now.

Admittedly, the Vong were the one thing I didn't personally like about the EU along with the destruction of Dac because they fucked up the galaxy beyond recognition, and the shit that followed only made it worse. Still I would prefer the Vong over Disney canon any day.

It's not that I dislike the Vong. As a species and a concept, they are pretty interesting. Unfortunately, the implementation was flawed from the get go.

Did they ever explain what it was about Vongforming that was truly so bad? Seems like generic sci-fi terraforming to me, albeit it always makes the world a jungle.

Don't get me wrong. I agree with you, I just didn't like the story of the Vong is what I meant, but yeah, as a species and the concept of what they could do as well as their past and technology was a great idea that as you said needed better execution.

I think it was because it damaged buildings in the process and ruined a native ecosystem. Although it did wonders for Coruscant.

It was the ad's, which were recently disabled. Lots of anti-malware was reporting it.
