There was supposed to be more about Cody in the seasons of Clone Wars we never got, oh well he's probably a dead character outside of a EA_Battlefront 2 cameo.

His entire being is another one Lucas's references he's based on some old sci if hero called Commando Cody.

I always thought it was funny all the clones got crazy names and he just picks Cody

Cody would have been an ideal antagonist in Rebels. He would be second only to Vader in knowing how to lead stormtroopers in purging jedi, and he would have plenty of motivation to arrest a traitor like Rex.

Chalk up another wasted opportunity to Disney Wars.
