They worked though, and did not taste bad at all. Sorta like tomato sauce on grits. Odd but ok. She threw a bay leaf in there, too.

I trust my wife not to poison me, and sure enough I did not contract any diseases from these shakes she was making. Her methods may be a bit batshit maddeningly nonsensical but damn do they work.
