On the topic of information that contradicts this, simpleminded monsters such as wurms, devil bugs, and most slimes are indiscriminant in chasing men. Going on implications, Leanan Sidhe are attracted to artists and scholars, which are not usually strong. Danuki seem to go after merchants. Amazonesses literally think men as being weaker than females, and prefer to have them as healers and house husbands while they do all the heavy lifting.
