Well since someone made a thread for Monster Girl Quest I may as well use this one. Funny someone brought up New Game +, because I've been working on a fan mod of it for a while, and now it's finally ready. I made it myself as a fan project, so Ecstasy has nothing to do with it. I added some new content and preserved the old content as close as I could to the way Ecstasy intended it. The point of this fan demo is a what if scenario for Luka arriving at the Pyramid before Sara, plus the addition of Witch Hunt Village. This is released "as good as I'm going to get it". I've never done this before, so you'll probably find bugs that I didn't. I catalogued some things that I'm aware of, but they're spoilers:
For some reason the jellyfish girl fight is broken and you can't recover SP or do any damage, so I just scripted an automatic victory to get around it.
Sara is supposed to be able to gain experience when she joins a battle with Luka. I got it working somewhat before, but then broke it, and I can't figure out how. She only has two opportunities to fight, the Iron Maiden and Lily, and I can only get her script to work in the Lily fight for some reason. Regardless, you can still see both of the training scenes I included for her. I originally attempted to make Sara's training scenes selectable like the special camp scenes, but I couldn't get that working either, so eventually I threw my hands in the air and just stapled Sara's training scenes to the end of her regular camp scenes.
I got Tamamo's special camp scene working just fine and I added the CGs for it to her Monsterpedia entry, but I can't figure out how to make the scene itself accessible from the Monsterpedia, so you'll just have to get it through camp scenes.
Finally, it seems like Luka has his angel skillset for some old fights when he shouldn't, but it's no big deal.
I'm sure there are others that I forgot or missed, but everything important to see the content should be working fine.
I'm just a fan of NG+ so I don't know anything about what Ecstasy is doing now. This is just a fan project by me while we wait for Part 3. You should be able to install just like a normal NG+ demo update, download the files and extract them to your folder. You'll probably want to make a backup copy of your NG+ folder before extracting my fan demo. I hope someone enjoys this.
