It was a lovely Summer day. The sky was clear, with the sun shining high in the sky, streaming through the boughs of the forest, which surrounded you in an otherworldly serenity. Birds sang, flowers bloomed, and the wind was gentle.
You were a soldier. At least, you used to be. The war was over, and your service to the Demon King had ended. Peace had settled across the land, and Monster-kin and humans now lived in peace. You had been paid well, so you wouldn't have to worry about money for a while.
As for what you were doing? Wanderlust had filled your heart, and you wanted to enjoy the freedom you now had. The open roads called your name, and you were more than willing to oblige. The road stretching out before you brought you more comfort than any inn, and offered you a chance to distance yourself from the horrors you had endured.
Walking around a bend in the path, the brush before you rustles, and a tall woman steps out onto the beaten path, staring you down with a confident grin.
Looking at her, you noticed her shock of untamed, long brown hair, topped with short floppy ears. Smelling a scent like burned oak with a slightly floral tint, along with her somewhat feral looking clothes, you came to the conclusion that it was a high orc. You had fought along side them, and knew them to be capable warriors, and accomplished hunters.
She had a rather strong build, well developed muscles that served only to accentuate her feminine features, rather than detract from them. Her skin had been darkened from years under the sun, glistening with a sheen of sweat. Her immodest attire composed entirely of hides and furs, decorated with totems crafted from animal bones, fangs, and claws. Her arms crossed, in an obviously provocative manner, as she flexed her sizable biceps, which in turn pressed her ample breasts together to emphasize the cleavage her top made no effort to conceal.
But fighting along side monster-kin for so long had rendered sights like this mundane for you. It was simply the way their God had made them.
“Hail, Sister of Light! It is a good day God has given us, is it not?” You call out with a friendly smile of your own.
“Drop 'em.” She commands.
You cock your head in confusion, “I'm sorry, is this a mugging?”
“It'll be a beating if you don't do as you're told. Now stop stalling, drop your pants, and get ready for mama!”
“Ah.” You sigh, grasping the situation. “While I'm not a married man, I'm not entirely looking for romance at the moment, you see.” After spending an entire lifetime with men only being available to the rich and powerful monster-kin, you knew many of them still had a good amount of sexual aggression left from being pent up for so long. Attacks like this had unfortunately become much more common in recent times where genocide was no longer a threat to them..
She exposed a fanged smile, licking her lips as she cracked her knuckles, “That's fine, I prefer the 'hard' way. Just don't cry, it's such a turn off…”
Watching closely, and listening to signs of any friends of hers that might be hiding, you slump your pack off of your shoulder, letting it fall to the ground. Twisting your neck around, you stretch your joints and loosen yourself up. “No hard feelings at all, miss.” You respond.
For some reason, this seemed to anger her, eyebrow twitching, before she charged for you, arms stretched out to her sides to give you less room to escape.
As she closes in, you jump up and grab onto a sturdy branch above you, quickly pulling yourself and perching on top of it, twisting around to watch as she struggled to stop when she realized you were gone.
Turning around, she looked around before spotting you among the trees, doing her best not to look frustrated. “Now you're just trying to piss me off! Don't think you can hide, I've already got your scent! You've got nowhere to run!”
“Can't we just talk this out?” You calmly ask her.
“You can talk all you want with your face between my legs! Now get down before I cut you down!” She shouts, pulling a roughly sharpened iron battleaxe from off her back.
“I have no qualms with you, sister! Please, let us go our separate ways in peace, and-” You're interrupted as she starts hacking at the trunk of the tree you was sitting on. “There's no need to harm the tree, it is not involved in our quarrel. I will come down.”
She smirks triumphantly as she leaves the axe buried in the tree, turning to face you.
