Sup, /monster/. I thought i'd try my hand at a cyoa/quest again. Was originally thinking of continuing a previous quest I did, but after seeing pic related, I felt like having a Kiki hitman/assassin type of deal going.
Haven't set up the full game mechanics and numbers yet since i'm trying to create a franken-system between Dark Heresy and Ops and Tactics.
In the meantime, I want anyone interested to make some rolls. First roll for each stat is used.
Roll 2d10+20 for each.

Huh, forgot about + not being needed for the modifier. Anyway, as a kikimora, we would get some stat adjustments. I'd say +3 to charisma and perception and a -3 to toughness should fit the bill.
We now have the following.
>Weapon Skill: 25
>Ballistic Skill: 40
>Strength: 35
>Toughness: 30
>Agility: 32
>Intelligence: 31
>Perception: 33
>Willpower: 35
>Charisma: 36
>Fortune: 31
So far, we have average to above average starting stats, are great in ranged combat, and kinda suck at melee.
Next step is skills. Pick 2 skills that we're trained in (+10 to rolls made with these) and 3 skills that we know (no penalties for using known skills).

A bonus to breaking and entering is good naming it like that is unnecessary and kinda stupid though, and rerolling probably isn’t the best way to apply it
Evidence Cleanup, Disguise, Sniping, and Door Unlocking. My suggestion for the final skill is Driving, so we can high-speed chase anyone trying to slip away from us. Which skills should be trained and which are merely known can be left to OP.
And to hurry up getting everything filled in; I suggest our special ability as being able to hide our weapons and equipment in our clothing and cleaning supplies. Not the most inspired choice but it’s all I can think of at this time. Hopefully someone can come up with something better by morning.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. You felt a certain sense of calm as you listened to the rhythm of the clock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. The room you're in has seen better days. You managed to dust off what you could, but age has clearly eaten away at this building. You wonder what kind of people used to live in this room. What stories these walls have been privy to. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
What's foremost on your mind is why your mark is late. He should've been in your sight five minutes ago. You did your best convincing him to come out to the New Langfort central park for information from a "insider source". You sigh and take a drink of the tea you brought in your thermos. Just then, you notice movement. You quickly look through the scope of your rifle. Sure enough, there's your mark. Better late than never. You watch as he walks along the cobblestone path, past the fountain, and sits at the bench overlooking the flower garden below. Right in perfect sight from your vantage point. You take a deep breath and squeeze the trigger.
---————--
The red-headed cat girl behind the counter glances up at you from her gossip rag as you enter. With a pop of her gum, she reaches under the counter and gives you a simple envelope.
"Thanks for making that delivery on such a short notice. Didn't think he'd want his jacket back so soon." She says with a grin. "I believe this should cover your 'overtime'."
You give a nod and tuck away your payment in your uniform. "Thank you, Karen. I try my best to deliver quality service."
Karen nods. "Well keep up the good work, Sofia. You have another delivery by the way. Suit's in the back."
You nod again and make your way to the door marked employees only. Through the door is what anyone would expect from the back room of a laundromat and dry cleaners'. You however, know better from the Agency.
You make your way to the old washing machine in the back with the out of order sign. You put a few quarters in the coin slot and push them in. The machine rumbles and slowly moves aside, revealing a service elevator. You step in and ride it down. The sight soon changes from a simple laundromat to a bright and silvery complex.
You exit the elevator, turn right and make your way down the hall. You pass a few other agents along the way, exchanging greetings. At the end of the hallway is a rather imposing oak door. You press the buzzer to the side of the door before the intercom above it tells you to enter.
Inside is a rather posh office. Hardwood floor, an expansive mahogany desk, oak chairs with crimson velvet seats, and a fireplace with a painting of the Agency's founder above. The chair behind the desk swivels around to reveal a succubus. Although the elements of age can be found on her, she stills holds that supernatural beauty about her making her age like a fine red wine. From her blond hair with silver highlights to her rather impressive bust. Even the eyepatch covering a wound from who knows when only serves to add to her image. It's hard for most agents to not feel a twinge of jealousy looking at her.
"Good work as usual, Agent Thirty-Nine. It's always a pleasure to have someone who can actually clean up after themselves."
"Thank you madame." You say with a bow. "I was told you have another job for me."
She nods and puts a series of photographs on the desk before pointing at a young-looking, black-haired man. "Your next target is one Yamashida Akagi. He is one of the potential heirs to Akagi Heavy Industries. One that may very well take over the company. Our client wants him out of the picture so that a more favorable heir would take control. Now, in three day's time a cruise ship will be arriving for supplies at Havensport. Onboard are key figures of a number of corporations. Yamashida is one of them. You are to get onboard the ship and make sure Yamashida has a little "accident". Try and make his death not raise suspicion. Any question?"
You pick up the photo and take a better look. "What complications might I encounter? I doubt someone like him is going just so easily let himself get killed."
"He always has a pair of oni bodyguards around him. One red, one blue. If you can get those two out of the way, Yamashida would be easy. Anything else?"
You shake your head. "No madame. This should suffice." you say as you take the envelope and exit the office.
>What do you do next?

Three days is plenty of prep time. We should at the very least obtain a schematic or blueprint of the vessel and commit it to memory: knowing where blind points and shortcuts are is invaluable. We should also investigate Yamashida himself, background, personality, interests, etc; something to gauge the best method of approach. Preparing a disguise would help: maybe a crew attendant/maid/hostess of some sort, with a uniform to match so we can effortlessly blend in on the ship and access most employee areas as well.
This is a great cyoa concept, I'm really interested in how this turns out

We should look into his bodyguards too; how competent/professional they are, how close they usually stick to him, how “close” their relationship with him actually is, etc.
In fact, gather as much info as we can on this dude’s allies, everyone who might be at hand on that ship and what their connection and investment with him is. Keep surprises at a minimum.
What material assets do we have available to us? We need to stock up on hollow-point rounds: Maximum lethality, no exit wound, the very definition of “No muss, no fuss.”
If we don’t need to completely “disappear” him, we could probably just scope him out from the shore/dock if he comes out on deck. But disguises and a plan of approach are always good to have on hand.

They'd still be picking a dart out of the corpse, so there had better be some believable way to blame that on someone else.
Is there any potential for bad blood between the passengers on this boat? Anything we might be able to learn, exploit, or nudge in a favorable direction in the three days before the ship arrives?
If we can't go the freak accident route, we need a good frame job that keeps attention well away from Sofia, the Agency, and whoever the client is.

Right. First of all you need intel. The layout of the ship is probably the most important. You could also do with information on Yamashida and his bodyguards. Their behavior, interests, and so forth. Would also be good to know his relations to other crew members. That’s quite a bit to research, but thankfully you know just the person to help.
You head down the main hallway and turn right. This is followed by a few more turns here and there before you reach your destination. A simple black door stands in front of you. Enough for anyone to largely ignore it. But you know better. Unless you really need her, you wouldn’t find this door. You still wished she’d turn off this chilling aura from her door. You turn the handle that sends a chill down your spine and enter.
Inside is the same library you always knew. Books upon books lining shelves that reach the ceiling. Ornate gothic décor every which way you turn. That ever so present layer of dust and the musk of age that screeches at you to clean it, but you know better than to touch her books without permission. As you make your way to the center of the library, an eerie fog rolls in and the voice of death calls out.
<”WHICH MORTAL DARES ENTER MY SANCTUM? THE REALM OF THE DEAD!”
You pinch the bridge of your nose. “Elizabeth. Cut the act. I need your help.”
The fog lets up to reveal a pale girl with a plaid skirt and a grey suit jacket a few sizes too large for her. “Oh poo. You’re no fun Sofia. You could at least try to act spooked. Also how many times have I told you to just call me Liz. Just because I’ve been around for hundreds of years doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun.”
“Look Eliza… Liz. I need your help with a job. I need some information.” You lay out the photos and give her your requests.
“Sounds easy enough for deep rot to do.” Liz answers and snaps her finger, sending out purple sparks. From behind you a pile of bones assembles itself into some kind of undead computer and crawls over to her. “I should have a report for you by tomorrow.”
“Thank you Liz.” Though she may be a bit on the eccentric side for a lich, she is rather relia-
“However! My dear Sofia.” Liz interrupts you train of thought. “Information isn’t always free.” She grins at this with a purple glimmer in her eyes. “I’ll need something in exchange.”
Oh no, it’s going to be something inane. But you need her services. “Fine. What is it?”
Before you even blink, she’s inches away from your face. “YOUR SOUL.” She whispers as her eyes burn with purple fire. “Pfft. Just kidding. We’re going to go for a little shopping trip after your job. It’ll be fun! I’ll even take you to my favorite spot!”
You sigh out. “Ok, deal. Thanks for the help.” You sometimes feel like she would take your soul as you exit the library. Now to start thinking of how to assassinate your mark. While you’d love to just snipe him from the dock, the order is to not raise suspicion and you doubt he’ll simply exit the ship anyway. You could try poisoning him, but that has its own risks. Decisions. Decisions.

Go shopping/looking for a useful disguise.
For a game plan we could go with knocking him out somehow, then dumping him overboard with a couple of weights on him. Easy disposal of the body, and no noticeable bloodshed involved. The difficult part is getting him away from those bodyguards for the takedown. I'd suggest chloroform disguised as a cleaning spray bottle and rag.

Take some time at some point to start looking into avenues for boosting our melee weapon proficiency. We definitely don’t have time for serious training right now, but because we’re so min-maxed on ranged combat, we can tell we’ll never be given an assignment that isn’t meant to be disposed of “up close and personal,” so we might as well start scheduling remedial martial arts studies for the future.

Now is not the time for Archerizing the plan. That comes later.
Also, how is Sofia going to actually get on the ship? I mean, I don't think we have the connections or time to get her installed as a legitimate member of the cruise staff. Is there any way she could pretend to be one of the people loading the ship with supplies without drawing too much attention? I guess what I'm getting at is that, even if she just plain Solid Sneks her way onto the ship, she will be in and among a lot of groups and does not belong to any of them. Sooner or later, no matter the disguise, people are going to notice that she sticks out.
Is the ship supposed to be taking on any new passengers during the supply stop? That might give us options.

>How is Sofia going to actually get on the ship?
We are a natural maid right? Can't we literally just become part of the support staff for the ship? Luxury ships have heaps of support staff for a large vessel so get in that way
Has the access benefits, the camouflage of being just another maid on a ship full of rich people and all the opportunities to kill him we could want. We are a kikimora so how likely is are we to be turned down from a cleaners position? We could always just make ourselves an opening for that matter. If we can pull off high-stakes kills, we can easily get rid of a single cleaner surely.
As for taking care of business, larger cruise liners even have private bathrooms. I say we use our position as a cleaner to provide their drinks fridge with stronger than usual drinks, plant a camera in his bathroom, wait till the onis are toast, poison him with whatever fun stuff was mentioned earlier in the thread, break his neck and then make it look like he had a bit much to drink, slipped in the bath and had a little accident. No witnesses, drunk onis as expected, contract complete with zero suspicion. Who would expect poison when he's got a broken neck?

I'm not sure about just randomly killing people. That'll eventually leave a trail. Besides that it would seem a bit suspicious that part of the staff of the ship a potential heir to a business mogul disappeared off the face of the earth just 3 days before he suffered a terrible accident. That would seem a bit suspicious. Add in the fact we'd likely have to get an ID badge to access parts of the ship which will probably be copied and stored somewhere that leaves our face attached to this incident. Which is something we really don't want.
As to how to kill I would suggest looking at his family medical history,if there's a pattern of cardiac arrest or stroke that runs in the family then if he dies from something with similar symptoms then it will be tragic but not entirely surprising to authorities. There are a variety of poisons we could use that create similar symptoms to a natural illness or health condition that are either undetectable after a short period of time or require a very specific test to discover. Which most likely will not be called for if it they believe it's cause was a health condition.

Well it's obvious you're going to have to go on the cruise ship in order to take Yamashida out. It should be easy enough to get on and blend in. There's bound to be another kikimora onboard as part of the service crew. You'll just have to "borrow" her uniform and ID and you'll have easy access. The harder part would be getting to your mark. You'll be a little out of your element in the closer quarters of the ship. Your suppressed pistol wouldn't cut it either for the "accidental" death on the order. You suppose the easiest thing to do would be to poison him.
You make your way down the hall to the chemistry lab. There's bound to be poison here. You spot Valentine, the Agency's chemical expert hunched over a set of beakers.
"Hello Valentine. Cooking up something new, I take it."
She turns around and lifts up her goggles, revealing the stitches haphazardly lining her patchwork face. What better person to play with dangerous chemicals than someone already dead and full of formaldehyde.
"Ah. Sofia. I was working on a new type of reagent. One that can quickly dissolve metal, but leave other material intact. Observe."
She picks up a nail and places it on a petri dish before pouring a bit of a sickly orange liquid onto it. Within seconds, the nail completely melts away but the petri dish is unharmed. "Of course it's still a little… unstable." she states. At this, the solution bubbles and bursts into flame before Valentine quickly puts it out. "Now then, what can I do for you? You rarely come into the lab."
Hmm. This solution might be useful. You'll keep it in mind. "I'm in need of a poison that can kill without leaving a trace."
Valentine nods. "Ah. Curare should do the trick. Hopefully we still have some left. Our previous provider is currently on the run and it'll be some time before we get a decent supply again. I'll go check, but first…"
She detaches her left hand and places it on the table before then removing one of her eyes and placing it near the solution. You're a little disgusted by this, especially when the eye turns to face the beaker and the hand stands up on its own. Valentine just grins at you and heads for the back room. After about five minutes, she returns with a frown on her face. "I'm sorry, Sofia. We're out. Looks like we gave the last bit away a couple days ago."
Well damn, there goes your best option. "Say Valentine, do you think you can have that solution done within the next three days?"
Valentine looks up in thought as she pops her eye back in. "I suppose I could get it a little more stable. I'll let you know."
"Thank you, Valentine." You say before exiting.

As much as I want to suggest we "try to remember the basics of CQC" I think we should get more creative than just poison or neck snaps. We should go to the tech lab and see if we can find anything to help generate unfortunate accidents, something we could use to overload electrical systems, or maybe take control of the ship. We could convince him and one of his bodyguards to do the whole Titanic thing then have the ship make a hard turn to get him to lose his footing and fall.
Better yet since I'm pretty sure cruise ships are too large to be made to rock on command an underwater drone of sufficient size could be used to ram the hull, and double as an escape should things go tits up.

Give a dosage in something alcoholic like around 50 µg and he's good as dead unless he regularly doses himself with naloxone. Quick, quiet and could be ruled as a drug overdose depending if you mix heroin into it to give the authorities a slip. All are ethanol soluble.

Well, it's not really maxed out. If you're familiar with the 40k rpgs, it uses a d100 for rolls. We just got a perfect starting roll for that stat. That 40 in BS translates to a 40% chance of hitting our target with 0 modifiers. We can still increase it as we progress. Also, the task is to kill him without raising suspicion.
<Try and make his death not raise suspicion.

The poison ideas are a good start, but maybe we are thinking a little too conventionally here.
Kikimoras may not be particularly magical, but maybe the Agency has some magic or enchanted items that could be of use to us? Just as an example, maybe some kind of charm magic that could get our target to be conveniently cooperative with our plans? Maybe some kind of sleep spell? Let's not limit ourselves to only the mundane.

Looks like you should hit the tech lab next. You’re sure you might find some goodies there. You just hope there won’t be an incidents like last time. As you push open the door, a laser neatly burns a hole in the billboard a foot away from you. This is then followed by the sounds of furious clanging and shouts of “NEIN! Bad automaton! Bad! No shooting at guests.”
As you recover from your shock, you make your way to the lab table and hear shuffling from behind it until a gremlin props herself up on the chair. “Ach, I svear. It iz alvays somezhink vith zese machines. Now, fräulein. Vhat can I do for you?”
“Hello Hilda, I see you’re busy as usual. I need something for my next job.” You say as you take a glance at the dog/tank/whatever the hell robot that you assume shot at you. Especially when it starts playing classic rock from its side.
Hilda shrugs. “It keeps me company. Now Sofia, I have just ze zhink for you. You vill love it.”
She hops off her chair and scurries over to a table off to the side with a sheets draped over some object. As she whips off the sheet, your eyes go wide and the legs go a little weak. On the table is a large, beautifully crafted rifle that sheens under the fluorescent lights. You take a few steps forward and reach out to fondle it before Hilda slaps your hand.
“Nein. It iz still not done yet, but soooon. I knew you’d like it. It fires specialty canisters vith a variety of effects. Explosive, tear gas, flash, lust bomb, electromagnetik.” She goes on, listing off the canisters on her fingers.
“Wait, what was that second to last one?”
She grins. “Flash?”
Well, whatever ‘interesting’ extras she might add, it’s still something that could come in handy. “How soon will it be done?”
“About a veek or so, darlink.”
Damnit, that’s too late for this next job. Although with the size of it, it’ll be hard to sneak onboard or use in close quarters. You sigh to yourself. You really want to give it a test shot, but your job comes first. You give the explanation to Hilda for your next job. She nods and comes back with a cart with various tools, gadgets, and other items on it.
She first pulls out a wetsuit with a pack need the head and upper back. “First, after you kill your mark, you vill need a vay of escape. I have a suit zhat vill keep you warm in ze sea. Once in ze water, ze pack vill automatically cover your head and activate ze propellers. Once you get a gut desistance avay, press zhis button and you vill be picked up.”
“Is this one of those living suits with the tentacles?” You say with a stern gaze. You are NOT having a repeat of the last time Hilda had you put on a suit. You couldn’t sit properly for days.
“Nein, fräulein… ok maybe ya. I vill get you a new suit. You did like it last time, zhough.” She says with the smug smirk her kind knows intrinsically.
“Shut up Hilda.” You reply with an angry blush.
“Next iz a sponge. Inzide iz a miniature computer zhat can dizable vhatever electronik you place it to. Don’t be too villy-nilly vith it. It has a rather small battery.”
“Finally, ve have ze micro-injector. Zhis can inject fluids qvickly into bottles while leavink only a microscopik trace of zhe hole it made. Untrained eyes vould know no difference.”
Looks like a decent setup. You’ll just have to stop by chemistry for proper toxins after you get your intel.

It is fine.better a little late and a good update than rushed and poor quality. As for what to do nextobviously pick up some poison and intelligence on our target. But for the next three days we need to figure out how to get onboard without notice and kill him as well.
That injector gives me an idea though. We just need to know what kind of alcohol he likes. This does of course depend on if he has a medical condition we can take advantage of. A poison that would only trigger this condition and leave others unaffected. That way even if someone drinks the same alcohol as him the odds of them being affected, and our poisoning being discovered, will be very low.

Move on to the chemistry center for a poison that leaves minimal trace.
Afterwards make a request for personal files on the target to see if he has medical complications we can exploit to cover up foul play, breaks in his schedule to approach him without witnesses, and any acquaintances at hand that seem likely to double-cross him. Killing him would be trivially easy; a blow or dartgun with a poison dart could put him down quickly and quietly (assuming are ranged expertise applies to non-firearms and he’s not got any toxicity immunities, check on that), it’s making it look natural that will a bitch to pull off. If there’s a chance a man on the inside that would help us, that’s our best shot at going undetected.
Afterwards inquire on melee weapons/online training for after this job; if we get vetoed from sniping in the future I’d like to not have Combat Proficiency of all things be our dump stat.

You pack away the items in a dry cleaner’s bag and hoist it over your shoulder. Looks like you got what you could so far. You’ll just wait until Liz gets you your intel before you plan further. You consider stopping by the training course to get some lessons in CQC in case you end up in a situation where you’ll really need it. Sadly, the trainer isn’t at the moment.
Feeling like you’ve spent quite enough time down here, you make your way back to the service elevator and ride up. It isn’t long before the familiar site of the dingy employee’s lounge of the laundromat. You spot Karen absentmindedly blowing smoke rings and lazing about on the ashtray-scented sofa.
“Hidden away quite deep, huh?” Karen says as she takes another drag on her cigarette.
“Maybe if you organized the dry cleaning a little better, I’d find it easier. You should probably try and cut down on your smokes too.” You reply in kind.
“Aw come on Sofia. How else am I going to keep up my perkiness? Anyway if you got time later tonight, wanna catch a movie after my shift? Commando Kain is playing. I know you love your action flicks.”
“I’ll consider it.” Idle talk, but it’s necessary in case someone’s ever wiretaps the laundromat.
You make your way out of the laundromat and around the back to your car and toss the bag in the trunk. You hop in and take a whiff of the mint air freshener before driving off. The sights and sounds of New Langfort and the afternoon traffic skim by as you make your way out of the city proper. Although most of your work takes you to cities like these, you’ve never been entirely fond of them. There’s something about cities that seem to drain you soul, overly friendly liches not counting. You reminisce the days of your childhood where you spent more time in the countryside. How you liked to explore and play around with your father’s slingshot from when you was a boy.
Eventually, you manage to pull up back to your home out in the suburbs. It’s a quiet house in a quiet neighborhood. Just perfectly average. Perfect for dispelling any suspicions. You pull up into the garage and enter your home before heading into the kitchen to brew up some tea.

You take a nice sip of your mint tea and put up some classical music. Today you’re feeling like Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. You then get to work on finishing up your household chores. A clean home is a happy home you always say. A sweep here, a wipe there, and soon enough, your home looks great. This is then followed by a dinner of homemade pelmeni that you froze earlier.
Looking at the time, you realize that it’s far too late to go catch any film with Karen. Maybe when your job’s done. For her faults, she is pretty nice. Once you finish your meal and wash the dishes, you decide to take stock of what you’ll bring on your assignment. You bring up all the items you brought from work onto your table.
The sponge and micro-injector would be very useful, especially how small and concealable they are. Once you get your intel, then you’ll know exactly what kind of poison to administer. Next is the wetsuit. You take a very careful look over it. Doesn’t seem like there’s anything amiss or odd. Maybe this is just a regular fancy wetsuit. You give some thought and frown as you realize you might have to get close to your target. As much as you trust your skills, any mistake could end up with you having to engage an oni or two at close quarters. You’ll be torn apart for sure.
For this, you bring out a couple ranged weapons. First is a blow gun and some empty darts that you kept from an earlier jungle mission. This would go very well with the plan to poison him and give you range, but you’ll have to be quick to dispose of the dart after shooting Yamashida. The other weapon you consider is your compact, integrally-suppressed 7.7mm pistol. This could be useful if worst comes to worst.
All that’s left is to get a proper disguise. You figure the best way to do that would be to incapacitate a ship stewardess and take her uniform. You also bring out your old maid uniform in case the first plan fails. You look over your table and nod to yourself. Aside from some items to get tomorrow, you should be good. You spend the rest of your night sipping another cup of tea (chamomile this time) and watching the star-lit sky from your back porch before heading in for sleep.
---——————————————-
You slowly wake up the next morning, feeling refreshed from a good night’s sleep. You strength and let out a yawn before adjusting your négligée. You then notice something feels off. You look down at your bed and notice a bump by your feet. You slowly lift up the blanket to reveal…
“Sup, cutie.” Says the horse skull sitting there. It’s eyes burning a light blue fire.
You fall out of your bed and quickly reach for your bedside pistol before the skull cries out. “WAIT! Liz sent me!” You give it a deadpan stare.
“Don’t believe the talking skull? Fine, here.” It says before hacking up a packet of papers.
You pick up the packet and sure enough, there’s some info Yamashida on it, followed by the two oni. Well, looks like Liz delivered. Her method of delivery left something to be desired, but hey it works.
“By the way, has anyone ever mentioned you have a nice ass?” the skull mentions. You thank the skull for the compliment before firmly tossing it out the window. You’re going to have a nice talk with Liz about things.

You sit down at your dining room table with your tea and croissant and start looking over the papers. You got to hand it to Liz, she did a thorough job. A little too thorough, though, as you safely skip through some of the more irrelevant data like where school Yamashida went to, his first crush, and so on. By the time you finish your breakfast, you’ve sorted it down to the most relevant information.
Yamashida Akagi. Age 32. Heir to Akagi Heavy Industries along with his brother, Ryou Akagi, after their father passed away. Yamashida is pretty much a playboy. Loves his women, his drink, and living it up. Was involved in quite a few scandals that were quickly covered up. Seems like a popular choice due to a number of company board members thinking they can use his vices to get their policies across. There are two board members who refuse to have him head the company: Kurou Katashi and Arata Tarou. Both of which would be on the ship. The easiest plan would be to get him alone with your charms, give him a poisoned drink, and be done with it. The bodyguards still remain the main obstacle.
Sayaka Kaede. Age 27. Red oni. The muscle of the two. Always by his side and is a former regional champion in Judo. That’s disregarding the impressive strength her kind already has. She has a great fondness for sweets and pastries. Maybe if you manage to distract her, you can get Yamashida out of her sight long enough to kill him.
Airi Atsuko. Age 30. Blue oni. Was a shrine maiden surprisingly before changing over to this line of work. The file doesn’t state why. Looks to be rather skilled in hydromancy and looks to be the voice of reason to keep your mark out of trouble. Is known to meditate often to keep her flow of magic strong. Great, just what you needed. A hydromancer in the middle of the ocean. You’ll have to keep an eye out for her meditation schedule.
Now that you have your data, you think over what to do next. You have two days before the ships arrives. You should definitely scope out the docks beforehand to figure out the best way to get onboard. Learning some CQC from the Agency would also be helpful in case the worst happens and you find yourself in melee. Testing out your equipment is a must too. You don’t trust that gremlin to not have fucked with the wetsuit somehow. Also, you should stop by church as well. You always considered it good luck before your missions.
You decide on testing your suit later. It’s better to get as much as you can done today. You dress up in your casual work clothes and hop in your car.
Where to first?

After about an hour or so of driving, you see the New Langfort harbor ahead of you. It’s a fairly large place split into four sections. The rightmost section is a series of smaller docks where private fishing boats and yachts are held. The next section over contains a plaza with number of local shops, restaurants, and a park. A real lively area that always has a calm bustle about it. After that are the larger docks for both commercial cargo ships and cruise ships. The leftmost part contains a several warehouses for distribution. In the middle of all this is a rather small building with a lighthouse on top. That is where the harbor-master both works and you assume lives.
You pull into the plaza section and park underneath a tree. You pull up a simple purse from underneath the passenger seat and look over its contents. On the top are items you’d see in pretty much any woman’s purse. A tube of lipstick, some powder, tissues, a light scarf, a wallet, even a few mints. Inconspicuous to anyone who might take a glance. Below all that, you have a compact pair of binoculars, an Agency-stock camera, a handheld transceiver, and a subcompact version of your regular pistol, also integrally suppressed. Looks like you’re good to go. You apply a little bit of the makeup before stowing it away and putting on some sunglasses.
As you step out of your car, you take a deep breath of the salty sea air and make your way through the plaza towards the large docks. It’s not the first time you’ve been here. You’ve been here before on a job, on a date that Karen set up for you, and on another date with someone you had to take out. That last one brings back awkward memories.
Right before you reach the docks, you stop and peek out towards the lighthouse. You know the harbor-master has the eyes of a hawk and doesn’t take kindly to people causing trouble in his domain. Hell, you can almost feel his eyes on you before you go back behind the corner. You turn around to look at the rightmost dock. A large number five is printed on the sign leading up to it. Next to it looks to be an administration building where passengers check in. Past that looks like the boarding area and a storage area for ship supplies. The perfect place to try and get a ship attendant’s uniform.

As seen here, Hilda already has "lust bomb" ammo for the experimental rifle in the works. Just ask her for the aphrodisiac and set up the poor cunt for a wild ride he won't soon forget.

This is perfect. Even if it doesn't work, it might cause enough chaos and confusion to give us other opportunities. And even a failure might get the onis out of our hair for a while if it results in them ending up too tired, tranquilized, and/or restrained to present further threat.

Scope out the service entrance and enter when it's quiet or free of people. Be ready to act like you're lost and when asked what you're doing here act dumb and when whoever it is, isn't looking pop a round in their skull from your pistol. Assuming you're caught that is.

Just because a pistol is suppressed, doesn't mean it's quiet. You essentially take the noise from being deafening to being on par with a big fire cracker. Since OP specified a sub-compact, it's more than likely a single stack 9mm, which means you'll have little ammo in your mag to make any quick follow-up shots if you fuck up or if there are witnesses. Contrary to TV and Hollyjew, pistols are notoriously bad at killing people quickly, and a person lying on a pool of blood screaming is not the way of a true stealth master.
Being spotted somewhere you shouldn't be should be avoided at all costs, and killing anyone should be absolute last resort. Bodies are hundreds of pounds of dead weight and damning evidence and will be a liability if not disposed of thoroughly (such disposal is also very resource/time consuming).

Alright Killer-kiki fag, >>335688 I.Q. 500 anon back at it again to save Killer-kiki from a failed Op.
This will be hard to pull off with leaving zero traces (no paper trails, no shell casings, etc.) but it can be done. I suggest the same general idea as >>334521
Head to the admin office and check to see when the mark's ship is departing (we'll be on a time crunch here. If the ship leaves without us we're fucked). They'll usually post shit like that on an info board, if not then simply ask. Next go sneeki-kiki around the storage area and snag a uniform into your purse and bring it to the car for later use.
I could write up a whole elaborate plan but I'll let the other anons have fun with this too.
Keep up the good work my dude. I'm looking forward to this little adventure.

Start with >>335648 and do little light shopping before you make your way to the boarding area to steal a uniform. That way you can sneak the uniform out in a shopping bag and if you get caught you have plausible deniability
"Sorry mister, I just thought the sephora was over here, could a strong, hansom guard point me in the right direction?"

forgot to add: scout out ways to plant tools/gear in supplies set to go on the ship. Just in case the passengers are searched.
