Guess I can get another typical high school anime idea out.

So going with my greentext. Premise is about the characters around the demon lord and hero. Demon lord wants to get in hero's pants. So hero and demon lord wage epic battles. Meanwhile everyone else has to deal with their shit and collateral damage afterward. The main character is a guy who has a crush on demon lord, but is an ignored NPC. There's also the demon lord's minion that gets a crush on the main character. And there's the princess hero wants to marry, but she's as uninterested as the demon lord is to MC. And there's also yandere psychobitch witch that has the hots for hero too and hero fights to get away from her. And of course there has to be a rival lesbian devil lord who wants demon lord, but threatens MC or anyone that makes a move on her.

The show is a clusterfuck of relationship problems and volatile chemistry between powerful heroes and monsters. And I think the end of the series might be when everyone finds the partner they never expected whether they originally wanted that partner or not.

It's not really. The ones that do want the hero's D are the background characters. The majority of the cast knows the hero personally. Despite him being valedictorian and Stu-ish hero is an all round asshole and the cast knows this. Demon lord at first seems like an asshole. But after talking to her on a personal level the average main character finds out demon lord is like almost any woman. It's more about the cast having friendships with each other rather than with the Charlie Brown-like main character. So more high school drama then harem.

I honestly am just happy to have these story and character concepts exist at all, even if the creator drops them part-way. I'd prefer a proper resolution like everyone else, but some, maybe even most creators just don't have the writing-chops to make a fully-realized, satisfying ending. At least leaving things on an abrupt status quo presents the possibility of the title being passed on to someone else, or letting fanworks pick up the hanging plot threads.

Under new management I guess. With the Queen in our sights, we quickly pressed onwards but we were stopped by a demon with a big red sword. She jumped right at me and I instinctively threw my shield up. Good god she hits the hardest out of anything I've ever seen. Amazing for such a small woman. I told him to go on while I hold this monster off. One strike from her would easily destroy him, but I am a knight and strength is my pride. Still, I’m worried that even my strength might not match up to her, but at the least I’ll hold my ground. In between her strikes. I can see my friend face off against the Demon Queen, watching such amazing spellcraft fly across the sky as this woman slams into my shield. I'm worried, she's too strong, I have to focus entirely on my defense or I'd get destroyed.
