I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem. Yeah, I want a comfy, quiet life with my waifu and daughterus, but at the same time I crave adventure with my waifu as well.
I may have found a solution: First, imagine that when you and your waifu first met, you were daring adventurers who grew close over the time you spent together. You hook up, get married and keep adventuring until you have adventured the everloving shit out of the entire world. Then when that's all done and you have both grown into MAX-LVL demigods, you settle down and get busy pumping her full of beautiful monster children.
Okay, now here's the catch: Magical Realms do not adhere to the rules of linear time, which means you can exist in any moment of this ideal timeline whenever you want. You want the comfy life? Go into the future to where you have a big, happy family. Getting bored of that? Go into the past and 'relive' one of the countless adventures you and your waifu went on. Don't worry, your kids haven't gone anywhere, they just haven't happened yet in the past, but you can visit them in the future whenever you please.
And don't worry about changing the future, either. Everything that happens in the timeline has already happened. You're not moving your present self into the past or the future. Rather, you become your past or future self the moment you arrive at their respective present.
I'm probably explaining all this poorly, but think of it like this: When you write a book, you shouldn't write it from start to finish. You should write each chapter independently, going back and forth to work on them as you come up with new ideas for each one.
And now that I have finished writing this, I realize that OP was actually talking about something completely different and I feel like a fucking idiot. Fuck it, I'll post this anyway.
