If you pursue information about someone with the mindset of a private investigator on a payroll, you'll easily discover these things about Sam.

Firstly, his Dad commited suicide because he went into debt after putting Sam into college for graphic design, his Dad was also an alcoholic. Then Sam dropped out and pushed to move to another college for reasons I didn't find out myself (but I could only assume it was the reason he mentioned in a HydeWars episodes, where he regrets chasing a girl to another college, the girlfriend fucking him over in the end). He also mentioned that his Dads girlfriend barred him from going to his own Dads funeral, which is factual and the reasons being was that she thought he was responsible for his suicide. I shit on Sam alot but I think going to go ahead and give Sam a break.

Can you please cite your sources? I'm making an MDE Wiki that documents all the videos and history behind the MDE lore dating back to Sam's AlienMode days when he would make videos about cars and other rare goodies. I've actually seen enough info to back up your claims but I can't remember where I read it.

Sam's dad is Fred H Hyde the second, see pic related. He was born in 1948, and is not dead. If anybody can find out if the one with the picture on google's middle name starts with an H, we can pretty much guarantee that's him.
