Ah, I recall the memes of "connecting to the server.." and once it was up after a few weeks downtime for everyone some kid played it for 2 weeks non-stop with only doritos and mtn dew and then he died due to either malnutrition or physical stress on the body.
Torchlight 2 is alright and pretty easy, although more recommended with a friend.
PoE just is kind of grindy, like you'll start getting good gear on the 3rd playthrough.
