New thread!
Hello and welcome back to our regularly scheduled program!
Now, that I have a break I can talk to you!
Are you currently enjoying your time off for the American posters?
Do you have anything planned for Thanksgiving?
What's your favorite food to eat?
For the European posters.
Hows school?
Are you almost finished?
Do you have any big plans for the upcoming break?
For everyone else.
How are you feeling?
Do you need anyone to talk to?
Or do you just want to talk?
Why not drop by and say hello?

Just feeling kind of shitty. It's kind of building upon something I'd mentioned previously. My friend circles before had always been friends of convenience, like I worked with them or went to school with them or something, and there was always at least one shitter, like, maybe they're just dumb, or a really big degenerate or something, and this is the first time I'm part of a group that I've kind of assembled independently of other obligations, and I just don't feel as if I measure up in this one, like, I must be the shitter. I'm not remotely as knowledgeable as some of the others, and I'm not as high-T as these guys, and I feel like I don't have any unique stories or insights, so I guess even though I really like them and get along well, it kind of hurts my self-esteem to be around.
c9db9a No.16384
>>16383
It isn't here is it?
Sounds like you're just too self-conscious of your actions and you're measuring their perceived successes against your own. You see yourself as the third wheel. It's hard to say when you're in a friend circle whether you're the third wheel or not. Generally, if that group perceives you as the third wheel they'll leave you out of their activities. If that's the case, then just drop them. Their not worth your time and energy. If they're including you in their activities and like having you around; then there's nothing to worry about. Just be yourself and don't try to let your thoughts overwhelm you and convince you that you can't measure up to their standards. They like you for who you are -if- they have you around.
But really, the key take away that I want to illustrate is that your thoughts can become your enemy and when you let the bad thoughts win you lose purpose.
c9db9a No.16385
>>16384
>It isn't here is it?
lolno. I don't really feel out of my depth here.
It's not that I don't feel welcomed, or anything like that, I've been present for everything, and as I say, we all get along. I don't know, I just don't feel like there's any one way I excel out of these, and I can't help but compare myself to others.
c9db9a No.16386
>>16385
It's the thoughts.
Basically, you have to keep your mind from wondering in that direction. If they enjoy you being around then there's absolutely nothing to worry about and you should keep being yourself.
They sound like a generous and welcoming crowd. Don't worry about your knowledge your strength. Just rejoice in their company and forget such lowly thoughts. This brings me to another question. Do you have a close friend?
c9db9a No.16388
>>16386
Maybe. I'll continue to let it bother me until I improve as a human being, but thank you for the assurance.

Ah, soft friends.
School is not necessarily a great place to meet friends. Most of the people there have one objective and have they just happen to share common interest with you as you stated. If you want more real friends instead of seasonal friends I suggest joining a club or program at school. Many people with similar interest congregate in those clubs or program and it can be easy to make a long term friend. However, if you don't find anyone to your liking you can simply move on to another club. Yes, gaming can become quite consuming…If it eating your time?

I just looked it up and it seems like he's a amicable author.
Yeah, Enoch is rather tangential from the rest of the bible actually gives some insight into what heaven is like and how the angels rank. He even sees God on his throne. Though, if you read the first part of revelations it sort of reads like that. It becomes overly verbose when the angel starts describing the valleys and the sinners that belong there. It also gives a rather detailed description what happened to Cain and where he -currently- is. I managed to plow through about 3/4 of it and the angel showed him the tree of knowledge and I turned it off and switched to something else.
Nausea is about a French writer that has nothing to do other than write a novel and as he is writing he gives up and claims that his only purpose in his life was to write the book. Thus, he begins to question whether things existed and as he was looking at a painting he comes to the conclusion that nothing exist!
Interesting existential fiction book. Much better than stranger than fiction in my opinion. Although, he has a tendency to talk without stopping..

Most of the world doesn't consider it canonical at all, though some places do!
I was listening to them talk about it on an episode of the Para-normies. Very good podcast if you're at all interested in more occulty side of /pol/, where everyone bad is actually a Luciferian reptile.

c9db9a No.16584
>>16583
Technically it is canon since early Christians managed to translate and make over 8 thousand copies of that darn book. It's a rather short book and can be a snooze fest as he's flying with the angel and he's talking to the angel about the prisons and the mountains. But if you like the bible I would try it out!
It's also interesting that the angel talked about Jesus. Though, his name was not given and the end times before revelations and the Apocalypse of Paul!
