You can easily cheat with cheat engine just that the addresses change after every scene.

So if you want money for example, go to steal some money , search for the value before and then as soon as the text for how much you stole shows up, search for the new amount.

You only have once chance per scene so you won't always end up with one result, especially at the lower values, but i got it in max 3 attempts every time.

Watch out to not increase it too much, for example you can't get mom's picture on the lawn chain if you are above 140 or so.

What you want to do is run the game in a window and when you're transitioning between areas (black screen) click outside the area so the game ends up "paused". Modify the values there and then and it should work.
