It depends on the context but you are right. The only exception is; Are you already in the pharmacy (as in, calling a pizza place, for example) and giving directions on how to get there? Then you would use "hasta esta calle", otherwise (a person on the street giving directions to get to the pharmacy), you are correct

This one sounds weird. I can't imagine a situation where you would phrase it so awkwardly. It's not strictly incorrect but uou are saying "From Laura's place until here you won't take long".
Other options could be:
"Por casa de Laura hasta aqui no se tarda nada" (you are traversing laura's place to get here)
"Hasta casa de Laura desde aqui no se tarda nada" (you are going to laura's from here, it sounds smoother)
