Just fluff, but 3 years with classes lasting a semester seem might short to get a full education, maybe 6 years with each class lasting a year instead ?

A page on Familiars, Summoning and/or Tamable Beats is needed.

Backdraws would be nice.

I don't get why def' and off' wards are two separate classes.

You'd probably want to add a line on how repeating a year in this school isn't allowed, and/or how the knowledge of the classes you didn't take is, somehow, out of your reach after school.

In the description for the binding ability in the black magic section it lets us know there are vampires. I don't see any other form of immortality, so my goal will be to become a vampire I guess. I'll post my build shortly.

Herblore with potion brewing for easy brews.

Blessing to bless the pots and make them even better.

Summoning + Binding is an obvious one.

I imagine darkness+invisibility would give me an way easier time being invisible in the darkness.

All others are just there because they sound fun. Not much to explain here

I'm basically a Mob Psycho 100 villain. Some chuuni asshole that fights with psychic powers and punches.

In hindsight, FUCK. I should have taken levitation so I could whip out that fucking A.B.A.P. telekinetic katana shit.

I shamelessly took a bunch of waifus as my friends. I chose to live by myself because I have no interest in male room mates and would want to spend my alone time mastering magic. My priority would be to find a vampire and get turned into one of them. I took a lot of options that would make that most likely to happen. Pelama and Mary may have connections with a vampire. My divination ability would be helpful in finding a vampire. When I acquire vampirism, the healing skill that I took will let me replenish blood. The combination of enchantment and reflection lets me enchant items that reflect spells. I'll wear those items. The combination of enchantment and invisibility should let me create Tolken style invisibility rings or Harry Potter invisibility cloaks. Blink is my escape ability. Jewelcraft should let me store large amounts of mana so I don't run out. Curse breaking seems pretty essential to living a long life with all of the curse douchebaggery. Dispel sounds like an all around useful ability in a world with offensive magic. Blessing sounds like it could have amazing potential.

Mob Psycho 100 build.

tl;dr

I have a sword I control through telekinesis.

That sword is layered in so many buffs and possessions that it can probably split an atom.

OK, so I used my break to learn a bit more. It's not like I'm OP or anything. My lifestyle will be to live in the deep forest running a community dedicated to healing. Creating and selling potions is my primary source of revenue. In battle, my strategy is to use the dark forest as cover for using darkness, and then potions/toxic to cause hallucinations, temporary paralysis, and sleep. I'll use leeching to drain a enemy mage of mana, so that when they wake they have no ability to resist. Then it's time for mindbreak.png, I mean getting them to see the light!

>I'll leave all the tactical strategy to Lynne, and focus on just being spontaneous, fine with me because I'm tired of trying to be the mastermind. Sometimes you just want to live more freely rather than becoming a slave to even a self-set schedule.

Black Build

<Classes>

>Earth, Toxic, Water, Fire, Lightning, Ice, Wind - 43

>Combination - 8

For employment and power.

>Magick 101 - 2

For general utility.

I am aware that these classes might not fit into a typical schedule. If need be I will take night classes and forgo any vacation.

<Title>

Battlemage. Alleged promise of fame. Fame generally means money. Money is essentially liquid leverage, effortless manipulation. This could be big.

<Dorm>

Knight.

It seems to be the only one capable of simulating practical combat experience. My training facilities will be better than the others for my ends.

<Adventure>

Hidden library, as often as possible.

Forgotten knowledge is almost as sought after as that which is forbidden- and for good reason.

<Friends>

I do not want friends. Mages are generally cowards, and my main reason for learning destructive spells is to combat them, now that they apparently exist.

Wicked witch, accursed warlock, cowards and gnaves, you face me, and it's going to hurt.

 No.7526

>>7525

>I do not want friends

Then you pick acquaintances. You want practical combat experience, so pick five mages you think will give you the broadest amount of experience. Alternatively, you could leech off of those mages who are inclined to create their own spells. You want forgotten knowledge, so why skip out on drinking knowledge right from the source?

>>7526

It is very easy for me to become emotionally attached. I love people, and I make friends quickly.

If I know any of the people around me by more than name, I might not be able to do the right thing by killing them for witchcraft in the future.

It's not that I literally don't want to make new friends, but there's no way I can trust the intent of this bizarre new magick-based society, or the abhuman mutants that have sudden sprouted up in my awareness. The friendly facade is probably what most of these people are being prevented, so they'll likely try to stop me from unveiling the actual situation out of hind-brain fear.

I'm not a sociopath. I can't get close to these folks.

 No.7573

The Knight dorm sounds the coolest to me, I'll go with a single bedroom since I like to have some alone time now and then and hate to think that I'm stepping on anyone's toes when I can't sleep or have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Writing out my curriculum by term

Martial arts 3

Blink 3

Offensive wards 4

Learning how to defend my self and stay alive early seems like a good idea and this gives me a fairly solid kit. Just with these abilities alone I should be fairly formidable since I could set up defensive areas by laying down relatively weak wards then blinking between them and using my martial arts to nail opponents.

Enchanting 6

Jewelcraft 4

A lot of solid utility, not super useful early on however, with a little preparation, lets me drastically increase my magical reserves. This term alone ensures that I'll be able to land a solid job after school and will probably form the core of my build.

————————–

Shielding 6

Animal form 3

Animal talking 1

Shielding is a very useful defensive spell and I imagine will probably be one of the most in demand enchantments around. Animal form/animal talking is an excellent combo to have in my back pocket since for relatively cheap it gives me a ton of options.

Combination 8

Spirit talking 2

Combination is awesome with my enchanting build since it means I can potentially put multiple effects on a single item by combining the spells before hand. It's actually the main reason I took offensive wards instead of defensive wards since I could potentially do really cool things using their reactive 'triggered' nature.

————————–

Healing 8

Nether talking 2

While my career seems to fit Alchemist the most right now my kit's pretty defensively geared, Healing lets me fall back into the defender role should the need arise. With the addition to nether talking I'm not able to potentially interact with ghosts, animals, people and spirits which is also opens up a lot of doors. If nothing else I could always make a decent living as a medium/translator.

Magic 101 2

Survival-ism 1

Lightning 7

Being able to efficiently use mana and quickly restore mana gives me a straight increase to the upper limit of my enchanted items/mana gems plus this gives me a solid offensive option which I lacked before. PLUS this makes it so I qualify for the Battlemage, Wizard, Alchemist and defender classes at the moment which is awesome.

—————————

Hidden library + Study hall - While the connections and experiences I have at this school are great, ultimately I'm going to school with the intention of leaving it someday and the only thing that'll for sure stick with me is everything I learned. With that in mind learning as much as possible is my primary goal for the entire school experience.

Lounge + Slime pet - That being said I'm not a complete robot and having something to break up the monotony of constant study and practice is important for keeping a fresh perspective on things.

Mary, Ventkalo, Kriras, Sil. All seem like my kind of people.

—————————

Ultimately my fighting style would probably rely on making lots of gem's and enchanted objects to assist me and others in fighting. I imagine I'd probably use something like boots enchanted with a blink spell and a spear enchanted with lightning for offense while having mana gems holding various traps that I'd scatter strategically throughout the battlefield.

Some combinations I thought of would be

OTrap + Shield, when someone steps in the area a force field pops up around the area both protecting them and effectively trapping them until it's destroyed or unless they blink out of it.

OTrap + Healing, when someone steps in the area a healing spell is cast on them, good for suddenly healing up team mates.

OTrap + Blink, when someone steps in the area they're blinked to an area designated at the time of placement. I could either use this offensively to teleport enemies into walls or defensively to teleport me or allies to safety.

Lightning + Shield, surround myself with lightning that lashes out at nearby attackers

Lightning + Shield, Attach a relatively weak shield to someone that acts as a lightning rod.

Lightning + Healing, Shoot a bolt of weak weak lightning at someone that invigorates their muscles

Lightning + Healing, channel a bolt of weak lightning through someone that repairs nerve damage.

Enchanting + Jewelcraft, make enchanted magical items with spell trigger effects, I.E. the aforementioned blink boots.

Seems fun

<First semester

>Magic 101 (8 credits left for this semester)

Mana regen is good, as well as other basics.

>Martial Arts (5)

It says this is all but required, but it's also doing a bit to shape my build

>Mana channeling (0)

Manipulation of raw mana, beyond just channeling it within myself, sounds very useful and it could apply to a lot of things. It also helps for the potential red mage and/or paladin build I'm currently imagining… but that's also why I'm only taking gray classes in my first semester, so I can still decide my major later

<Second Semester

>Lightning (3)

Am I gonna have to smite a bitch?

>Detect Curses (0)

As the description says, it's really nice to realize a sword is cursed BEFORE it welds itself to your hand

<Third Semester

>Purification (and nothing else)

It seems I'm gonna have to smite a bitch… it's a shame there aren't more low-cost classes to fill in these gaps

<Fourth Semester

>Combination

BY THE HOLY LIGHT

<Fifth Semester

>Healing

I'm upset that this costs so much. Generally healing is a really basic thing, but their reasoning is fair enough. If I didn't have to adhere to the semester format I could have gotten another class or two in, but oh well.

<Final semester

>Detect Curses

As the description says, it's really nice to find out that a sword is cursed BEFORE it welds itself to your hand

>Familiar (0)

I want a really good familiar. Probably something soft and adorable like pic related, potentially with the possibility of growing into something tough and intimidating. I'm burning the other three credits and having this as my last thing, after I've learned everything else, because again, I want this to be a good one. This little guy is gonna be my bro for life, I'm finding the best possible core.

<I am a battlemage

I'd be able to take priest if it wasn't for the red restriction, but the description for battlemage sounds way cooler anyway.

>Biship dorms

Sounds best for me. I prefer to keep things chill, and would like to get shit done without being obsessive

>Single room

I like having a bit of privacy

>Slime pet

It's kinda cute, even if not particularly useful

>Lounge (both my later years)

Sounds like some lounges are more relevant to my interests than others, but just earning access should be fun

>Pyhno, the harpy alchemist

She's just way too adorable not to take

>Gabe, the big priest

Seems like a total bro

>Glamir, the chill sorceress

She seems nice and helpful. Simple as that

>Ventkalo, the excitable druid

Most of my other friends are chill like me; I'm gonna need somebody to motivate me to actually do stuff

>Damien, the beta lich

At first I kinda wanted to take frieda, but we already have 1 and a half priests, not that I'm building an adventuring party, but it still bugged me, and then I noticed this guy had a thing for her, and thought it could be fun to play wingman. I'm also curious about his wacky skeleton

Fun cyoa
