I thought it'd be interesting to craft a character that felt more in tune with beasts and non-humans than the humans themselves, living off the land with knowledge of the wilderness and a keen sense of danger being the things that kept him alive. Moving south to seek out the other Witcher schools in hopes of finding an answer to explain the nightmares he's had since he was a child; those same nightmares that caused his alienation from other people in the first place. He's a sad, scared little man. Too afraid to pick up a sword, he instead fights from the shadows. Not with cloak and dagger, but with a heavy crossbow and compound bow that he uses to silently pick off his targets from a distance, relying on his intuitive knowledge of beasts in order to find and exploit the weak points in monsters he can't strike down in a head-to-head battle. He's cheated death countless times, regenerating so well that his body doesn't even show a single scar, but the pain inflicted in each injury leaves him a crying, broken mess as his body repairs itself after every close call.
I made it through like, half of the tutorial in the first Witcher game and couldn't stand it, so hopefully my character doesn't blow chunks in the lore.
