Anyone got advice for meeting/approaching guys in real life?

I'm basically socially retarded and have never tried to talk to a stranger in person before. But since I'm sick of being lonely and going to a dorm soon I want to learn the basics.

Like how do I approach someone, what to say, when it's ok to try and initiate stuff, so on. I've got literally no experience in this so feel free to talk down and treat me like an idiot so I get every small detail

Seriously the biggest key to approaching is just doing it. The first tries will be awful autistic shit, but thats no shame - mine were aswell. But the best part about it is, that you wont worry about what-ifs with someone afterwards as the score is settled.

Obviously your gaydar will let you down more often then not. However I found that most hetero guys I approached felt flattered by my approach. If they react badly they are cunts anyways and not to be bothered with.

Escalating things is the least problem to think about at your point right now. Most often then not these things will happen naturally along the way.

Just get yourself out there when you see someone interesting - good luck!

I'm not even talking about going for a boyfriend, just people in general. Like normal friends, get in a social circle or something.

Just talk like you do with your family at home. I mean, obviously, be polite and all that but seriously, conversation isn't taught. You just have to go out there and get a sense for how it works.
