How do you make your hair girly?

My hair is extremely curly when it grows out, basically afro and it's really frustrating to deal with to the point that i wear a beanie all the time

I used to straighten it but it really destroys my hair, so i would prefer not to do that

Pic related is censored me

nice body, but looks like you're coming home from school. Maybe try to make that.. not what it looks like. You're fucked by the way. You lost the genetic lottery. Sorry bud.

Conditioner. Every day. Do not use a blow dryer unless it is cold air. Get products like a leave in conditioner. It's really easy to get curly hair with your hair type, you just need to care for it. if you want to straighten it, get it relaxed by a professional then use a straightening iron. Start going to hair salons.

Why are all Australians shit at hiding conversation? Is it genetic as well? Criminals mixed with literal apes?

look into chemical straighteners because that's your best option. do a bit of research online because there's permanent and semi permanent options (takes a few months to grow curly again) and ask around salons in your area if they offer it.

I find it cute, the mess at the top could be cleaned up though.. Settle for boyish charms, maybe? Full on trap mode is pretty much unattainable for most and probably not as appealing to the male population as /cuteboys/ makes it out to be anyway.

Hi OP

I too know the curly, dry, hair struggle.

Find a salon near you and ask them about a Keratin Treatment. I get them every 6 months or so and they are a life saver. They took my shit hair and made it beautiful and flippy. Basically what it will do is make your hair straight for the most part, probably leaving little waves so its not unnatural looking, and it will stay that way for like 3 to 4 months before it starts to fade off, or your natural roots start growing in.

Its rather pricey, as its gonna be around $150 or so depending on the salon, but it is very worth it.

Please try it, it saved me from giving up and cutting all my hair off. <3

I already do that, i usually use shampoo and conditioner every other day, and fortunately where i live is hot enough that i don't have to use the blow dryer

idk, i'm kind of scared about it, i've read something about it, what are the side effects?

 No.345362

>>345344

Do not use shampoo. Get a cleansing conditioner and use it every other day. Get a decent hydrating conditioner and use that as well. Conditioner washing does work, I do it. You will probably need to get it cut to get rid of dead/split ends, and you will need to get it trimmed every few months.

 No.345408

>>345344

Not really any major downsides to it from my experience. It's not completely permanent and will fade over time. Of course if you don't get it redone, your new grown roots will be noticeably drier than the rest of your hair.

Some salons offer something called a "Keratin Express" that is basically like a trial of the actual treatment. I had it done and it made my hair straight and smooth for about a week and wore off rather quickly, though the smoothness remained a bit. Ask salons around you if they offer that.

Coconut oil and a pea size dab of bees wax will make your frizzy hair smooth and silky. I have dry frizzy hair too due to a mix of Spanish and native American

I kind of mitigated the problem, i dunno if it might help anyone

I stopped brushing and generally touching my hair too much when they are dry and started more patting it to make it go down, it has become a bit more manageable and qt

do that when its wet too

in the shower just condition it a ton, wash out the conditioner, and then put a little more conditioner in and just leave it in. while its wet twist the curls around your finger and then just pat dry your hair enough so that its not dripping, and then air dry the rest. the curls should dry with more form and shape rather than being frizzy

My hair is normally oily and prone to tangle. I use coal tar shampoo and baking soda for the oil, conditioner and vinegar for the tangling.

Would bleaching my hair be a problem, /cuteboys/? I've always wanted my hair to be slightly lighter.

>>346204

Got any more? That hair is lovely. I should've replied earlier but I couldn't get my laptop camera to work.

Please tell me that reaction pic means you're a furry.

>>352268

What you need is a DHT-blocker like Finasteride or Dutasteride. I plan on getting a prescription as soon as I move out because the corners of my hairline are receded.

I'd ask for hair removal tips, but that would be for the cute help thread. My cheap shit $50 drug-store Philips epilator is great on my elbows and upper feet, but leaves red dots on my legs. And I'm supposed to somehow shave the pubic area before my laser appointment next weak.

>>352813

Also, I know it was longer last time I posted on /cuteboys/, I promise to grow it out this time.

>>345934

Yeah, it's great. I say that as a metalhead with way less pretty hair than him.

>>346024

Interesting. I want moar details.

>>351220

NICE. Is there anything else you have to do after or before running it through the iron? I'd love to try that.

>>346663

In an absolute poorfag emergency, like when my hair is too tangled to tie back 10 minutes before work, I use a mix of cold water and a small amount vinegar. Best way to apply it in the shower is in a squirt-soap bottle. Must be white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, malt vinegar will leave crusty residue. Hair is a lot more compliant afterwards.

Vinegar doesn't smell great, but it does eventually evaporate.

The back of my hair is always wiry and tangled, it's darker and a different texture from the nice light hairs up front.

>My hair is normally oily

You just have to wash it everyday with shampoo. If you get so oily hair in one day (if it's even possible) just wash hair before you get out of home. On these pics your hair look like mine after not washing for 5 days. Don't ask why, I swear I could not. I always wash myself everyday normally.
