Jon Hamm is a cute man, and he's in his forties.

Everybody ages differently but for the most part as long as you take care of yourself you can stay feminine even in your 30s. If you're still cute at 25 you aren't going to suddenly have a huge surge of testosterone that turns you into an old man. Your skin and metabolism is just going to get weaker over time.

Thanks for the info Admin. I guess there's hope provided I continue getting my shit together.
No.331313
Yes. As anon said once in an older thread, in the end what really makes someone attractive is how healthy and groomed someone is. Your health doesn't necessarily decay that much once you get older, I have people in my family that are close to their 70s and jog 10 kilometers (about 6 miles) every day and don't have a single health problem. And that's with current technology; as for us we'll probably have some very, very advanced medicine in 50 years.

Perfect proof you don't need to be on HRT or attempt to act and be like a girl to be cute.

>stay feminine
It appears to be a rising view among the lads on this board that "cuteness" has, in all circumstances and possible meanings, to mean "femininity". As posted by leaf (>>331279), you don't need to be womanly to look young and cute. Matter of fact, there's a reason why they say woman age like milk and men age like wine.
As the administrator of cute/boys/, I expect that you know that cuteboys are still boys. There's the difference that it appears many are struggling to understand; looking young and boy-ish makes you a cute boy, looking like a woman makes you a trap or a transexual, and looking manly makes you a man.
Testosterone also doesn't really "turns you into an old man". Again, there's a reason why progressively more old men are looking into hormonal therapies - not to become women, but to make up for their testosterone loss that naturally comes with age, and the results they get are nothing short from amazing.

The funny part about it to me is that I actually am trans and am on hrt for dysphoria, yet I'm in the minority on /cuteboys/ advocating for masculinity. There is definitely a bit of a cultural issue on here where people correlate cuteness and attractiveness with feminine traits alone.
No.331410
>>331336
OP has said in no way that he wants to be feminine, just cute. He even mentioned if there is the possibility of being a cute *man*.
Once again, it shows up this misconception that "cute" correlates with "girl". It's not the case. There are boys that are cute being boyish, there are girls who are cute being girly. Do you debate this? Please respond objectively, do you believe that a boy is only cute if he wishes to look and act like a girl? I would be interested in the view of the board owner, on what you consider to be cute.
>>331362
It's about keeping a board for what they're meant for. No one in their right mind would go to /mtf/ and advocate manliness and typically masculine stuff; as you said it's a cultural issue.
No.331425
>>331410
I don't really mind that it's posted here personally. My bigger concern is that masculinity is frowned upon and shunned. There could easily be a balance of the two.
No.331432
>>331410
>>331425
I feel like I should have elaborated on this a little.
There's nothing necessarily wrong or unhealthy with boys pursuing femininity if that's what they personally believe is best for them. Nor do I ever think the intent of /cuteboys/ was to celebrate masculinity, it's more to do with attractive/cute boys in general.
You're correct in that no one in their right mind would go to /mtf/ to advocate manliness. That being said it's not uncommon for trans people on both sides to retain some of their previous traits. An example, while admittedly anecdotal, I can provide you myself is that I still consider male casual dress shirts to be one of my favourite attires. It's also a bit disingenuous to compare a board related to trans issues to a board that's mainly based on vanity (not that this form of vanity is necessarily a bad thing).
I feel like you're kind of doing the same thing you're arguing against. Instead of letting people decide what's best for them you insist that /cuteboys/ should have a main focus on masculinity. Dissent is healthy in any community and should be promoted, not shut down.
What I do agree on is that there is an overbearing sense of negativity towards masculinity on this board, and that it leads to some serious issues such as young males believing they are required to be on HRT to remain cute or even simply fit in. I find that really troubling.

Hugh Dancy is my favourite example of an older man who still has some sort of boyish cuteness. Also in his forties though he probably was younger in this pic.
No.331439
hey its OP here, sorry for the confusion and i sbould have clarified.
i was asking in the context of feminizing myself. While I certainly dont want to mtf or apply hormones, I am interested of softening my features to the point of androgeny or at least evoking a sense of 'softness'.

Some teen idols look like hell when they get older, some don't. The Backstreet Boys, for example, aged really well. 10/10 don't care if they're fortysomething now - would still bang.
No.331495
25 or so is usually the limit, but cuteboys often go bad at 18-19 as they finish puberty. There are plenty of outliers in both directions, but taking care of yourself and hormone fuckery can help. Mostly comes down to luck and good camera angles. I'm not saying it is impossible to be a sub at 25 but at some point you need to transition into a twink.
