Actually, I think I know - swearing (to me, anyway) is an emotional expression. Sometimes only certain words contain the strength to accurately express what it is that I'm currently feeling - that's where swearing comes in.

For these people, however, strong emotions scare them; they lose control and are unable to articulate themselves, as evidenced by their shrill screeching whenever life doesn't conform to their ideals. So, outside of that, they regard swearing as just a jumble of naughty words which they think sound funny to say, as it makes them sound more adult. They regard swearing much in the same way an 8-year old would.

Europe is a very big place, with a very big economy and a very big population. BUT.

European governmet is good at just 1 thing: making small problems very large.

We had a problem in one of our countries, Greece, that almost crashed the whole EU and caused a second recession. To put things in perspective, Greece has the population and GDP of an italian region (my country) or a big city like London. It's like USA getting almost bankrupt because a city went bankrupt. That's how badly managed Europe is.

Likewise, we had some immigration problems. BUT.

We europeans have a very long and complex history. Like, WTF, we had vikings and muslims team up in Sicily to build a Kingdom which existed for centuries. And yes, a bunch of niggers showed up at our borders, but that's nothing new. And many of our countries had much massive immigration or emigratinon waves in the past.

Likewise terrorism. Yes, we had some attacks. But the overall numbers of deaths by terrorism is shrinking. Why? Because us europeans wrote the textbook on terrorism with organizations like IRA, Eta, Brigate Rosse, the Basque independentists and so on. WTF, our numbers accounted to a not-so-small war in the '70s, 80s and 90s. Nowadays? It's a joke.
