Either way, the apology wasn't accepted by either Byrd or Rice, mostly because John K used his medical conditions as an excuse for his behavior.

Bryd also shares a story about how she had to get an abortion at 18 due to her heavy medication affecting the fetus, and John K sent producer Steve Worth to pick her up from the clinic instead of picking her up himself. Which was a dick move.
