There were so many deaths cut of the movie, not to mention additional scenes for character development. The pacing is horrible.

The entire series needs to be remade, but then again there's dozens of attempts trying to make sense of some dumb crap like the Autobots and Decepticon leaders and their high commands being MIA for millions of years, and nobody bat an eye. I'm still amused at Hasbro's Thirteen Transformers crap along with the Primus vs Unicron thing, and Furman with his full control of the IDW continuity that gave us Tranny-Transformers because he hated the idea of robot genders, but he couldn't have foreseen how the IDW SJWs celebrated that shit.

Cartoon was unintentionally funny in many ways while the comics with 80s-90s heavy metal edge, and there's the Japanese where it's always an attempt to sell toys and lewd the female robots, KISS Players series was a nightmare

The problem with this is that they will fuck it up big time if they remake it. For example, it's pretty sure that the main human character will be a black girl, Arcee would be the stronk wymyn, some robots would be trans or gay, etc. I don't want this.

That is the main thing dragging down Transformers in general. It's okay to have a human character in there as long as they are not very critical to the plot. The animated Transformers movie had Spike and Daniel but they were side characters to everything going on.

The issue comes in that Hollywood would look at Transformers and say the same shit 'No audience is gonna take talking robots seriously'

On the contrary, most Transformers stuff is some degree of shit. It's actually rare to get anything really good out of it, but I guess it's also rare to get anything truly terrible. Like, the only show that was actually complete shit was Energon, but you rarely get anything good as Beast Wars or Animated. Prime is probably the third best Transfomers series only because it doesn't get really terrible at any point and just stays mostly average. If you ignored all the AKOM episodes then the G1 cartoon might beat it, maybe.

Beast Machines was pretty good if you consider everybody but the writers wanted to fuck it up. Conceptually it was also pretty good, but not with the Beast Wars cast you knew and loved. The Japanese Beast Wars series are pretty Japanese, and the Japanese think living robot shows are shows for small childrens. I think it turned out better than the Japanese dub of the regular Beast Wars series, holy shit that's everything wrong with dubbing regardless of region.

Not that I recall. There's a series where a human becomes an engine for a lifeless transtector that looks like Optimus but is totally his own guy. Then at the end of the series said transtector comes to life. And in the next series he adopts a human kid, dies, then becomes a lion-shaped power up for Star Saber.

So just the regular plot of the GoBots. I think that in the original cartoon they did it centuries ago to avoid a solar flare or some shit, I've never watched the GoBot's cartoon so I'm not totally sure.
