No one gives a fuck about pride parade unless people attending it begin to make a spectacle of themselves. Only issues were in 2005 and 2006 when the parade first started and people were afraid that there will be faggots running around the city drugged up and naked like they do in Berlin. After parade looked like any other march, except participants carried rainbow flags, people stopped giving a shit.
Since then, nationalists had trouble pulling more than a couple hundred to fuck with the parade or organize counter-protests, meaning that they people protesting the parade are outnumbered at least 100 to 1. The closest it got to the violence was in 2005, when people protesting the parade threw a few eggs.
All that and confederate uniforms are good signs that the writer knows nothing about the Polish society. If Madden actually lives in Poland, he is probably one of the foreigners who puts no effort into learning language and assimilating. Instead, he likely associates exclusively with expats from him home country, drinks his miserable life away, and gets angry when Police and locals tell him to respect local laws and customs.

The real version is only sold in Australia and South Africa as I recall, but there may be a couple of other places.
