I wonder how Spidey feels about essentially being the Adam for a whole new species. As I recall, the Venom symbiote was originally deemed insane and outcast from its fellows for wanting a true symbiotic relationship instead of a parasitic one. But none of its offspring, even Carnage, have ever considered being true parasites again and all stuck with bonding to a host symbiotically. And they all have spider-sense + immunity to Spidey's, so Peter must've left a lasting genetic impression on the Venom symbiote.
