Part of it is likely nostalgia for my past, but there's still a big part of me wondering just how the hell Dinosaucers didn't just dominate the market when it came out. I mean, I'm not blind, I know why it failed as all you would have to do is watch the show. Half the cast was 'the stupid one' with horrific puns throughout the whole thing. Which is kind of strange when you consider that there was at least a bit of effort put into the premise and setup for them to fail so hard in the execution.
I'd love to see a reboot. It doesn't need to be the edgy version, but just having the cast be more adult and competent would be a plus. If they wanted to go hog wild for it, I'd love for the Dinosaucers actually be native to earth, but having migrated off planet when the planet was about to go through some shit billions of years ago, and the two factions are just scout parties trying to get things set up for the return. One faction deciding to enslave or wipe out the new dominant species and another wanting to live along side them. Sadly, even experienced people with connections seem to have trouble doing anything fun like that, short of winning the lottery it's never going to happen.
