Now this is a comic I never hear anyone talk about. In many ways it was an early draft of the later and more successful Lil' Hellboy.

Talking about a 20 year old mini isn't easy. Also, interestingly enough Wray and DeStefano colored and inked the Genndy Tartakovsky-drawn Luke Cage mini that only came out a year ago.

Like DeStefano, Bill Wray worked a lot with Tartakovsky in animation. He even did the majority of the covers for DC's Dexter's Lab comic. However, he's most famous for his work on Ren & Stimpy and The Mighty B!. He's focusing on painting now.
Wray appears to be yet another example, like DeStefano and Tartakovsky, of animation stealing all the good cartoonists.

Alright, cucks and sluts, I'm back with the second PULSE POUNDING instalment of BBB.
And oh boy, it just gets better and better after that Vince Colletta joke! And bear in mind this was published RIGHT after he died, LOL.

Nobody here reads comics except to shit on them. It's like /tv/, a board about a medium we used to like but now hate.

Depraved, but quite fun to read. The artwork is lavish and energetic, I usually hate most other artists that use this thick line artwork, but Robert Fleming makes it a treat to read.

Apparently William Wray was an army brat growing up. His father was a lieutenant colonel in Army Intelligence, which really explains the father figure of the comic.
Thanks for sharing, OP.

But I do have this from Hellboy Jr., from the same team.
Anyone got Wray's Monroe strips from MAD?

I thought the parody was just a cover. Speaking of raunchy parodies of old cartoons, I recall seeing some online, they were made during the great depression I think the name was: Made in Tijuana

Oh yeah, Tijuana Bibles, the original underground comix, lol.
They were 1920's vintage.

What is this a parody of? Just generally duck cartoons?
