I thought it was a lot of fun. It's basically two End of Watch belnded in with a standard "prevent the dark lord from rising" fantasy plot. However, if they had casted a white guy instead of Will Smith as the kinda-racist but well-meaning protagonist the movie probably would have been unbearable.
