Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? It's bad enough that they have to ham-fistedly make Batman a menace by coming up with absurd ways for him to cause collateral damage, like having him DRIVE over rooftops when he owns a goddamned jet.

>Who's Jason Todd?

Is this a typo? Or was Jason the first Robin in this continuity for some reason?
No.949126
>>949108
Batman: White Knight seems to play pretty loose with any real consistency with the mainline comics in the name of Batman looking like a shit-head. Hence Dick saying Bruce was closer to Jason and Barbra not knowing who he was despite it not exactly being a secret to anyone who's spent five minutes in the Batcave.
On a more positive note though, I fairly enjoyed this week, thanks OP for storytiming it all.
No.949131
I just started reading Deathstroke (from the beginning) and man it really took a downtrun around issue 15-ish when he starts hanging out with NotMyPowerGirl. Does it get better again?

There's a crossover with Titans and Teen Titans, and then it turns into a team book, with Slade leading the team. Get ready to see a lot more of BlackPower Girl.

It being a team book doesn't necessarily sound terrible, but the spoilered text does.
No.949149
>>949141
Well, being forced to share screen time with seven other people does at least mean you’ll only have to deal with her for short stretches at a time. And the main focus of the story is definitely still on Slade.

Whoops, hit reply too early.
Booster's back next week. I sure hope Jurgens explains if this is New 52 Booster, original Booster/Waverider, or a fusion of the two like Superman. Where's my fucking Blue and Gold book, DC?
No.949251
Overall, not a bad week. Hopefully Raptor is finally gone, wasn't a big fan of him. Also Pigeon went down like you'd expect, the way any C-rate villain would.
No.949257
>>948875
The White Knight is not getting any less dumb than it originally started out as.
Duke is probably the biggest idiot so far. He says to Napier "To me you are still the Joker," but apparently showing Joker your entire setup and feeding him information is not a big deal. Besides, how does letting gangs mug people and point guns at them make Backport safer for its residents?
Whole reason for Batman herding villains to the library's construction site doesn't make much sense either. Street looks empty enough, and much more wide-open than the Library. Police could just block one end of the street, Bats the other, and then just close in around the villains. Side-streets are the only concern, but construction sites have plenty of places to hide in and getting out is as simple as hopping over a wire fence
>Month in and construction is half-way done
For an utterly corrupt bureaucracy with money issues, Gotham sure is efficient. Even Chinese do not get through red tape and workload that quickly.
No.949264
>>948930
>though what's the backstory on the fake Harley Quinn?
Previous issue revealed that real Harley left Joker during the old days and was replaced by a fake Harley (wearing Suicide Squad outfit) who was encouraging Joker's violent tendancies. Probably became Neo-Joker to get old Mistah J back.
No.949265
>>949264

Also, costume says old Booster…maybe it's Waverider Booster but he changes his form to something more familiar? Or maybe Superman Reborn retconned Convergence outright and he's back to classic Booster.
No.949430
>>948866
>>948865
What is it with Batgirl constantly using real names when in costumes? Calling Batman "Bruce" with super villains around is not a good idea. Considering how often she did that in previous two issues, Batman's identity would not stay secret for long in this universe.
>>949371
But how will Murphy explain Barman not being able to figure out that Napier/Joker is really Jason Todd? Is Napier's face a mask or something? Is Murphy's Batman going to turn out to be even more of an idiot?
No.949523
>>949265
It's not. Old Harley shows up and punches new Harley and literally says something like "This is for feminism!"
The hilarious thing is that the people working on Harley Quinn right now use cosplayers as their inspiration when designing outfits for her, so this feminism punch is a punch right in the face of every young woman who likes her, telling them that they are the wrong sort of women.

Kind of odd that Kal forgot the effect a red sun would have on him. You'd think he'd be aware that he lost his powers given his super senses and whatnot are gone.
I think I would've liked this better if they had gone with the chronal storm Supes was in speeding up his clock and making him burn through his yellow sunlight reserves quicker. That'd explain his surprise a bit better.

It's because apparently King became obsessed with nine panels, but doesn't know much about visual storytelling. Vision, Omega Men, and Sheriff of Babylon used used nine panels often, but weren't slaves to it.Unlike Mister Miracle, which just looks like incompetent creators blindly copying Watchmen.
Moore, Gibbons, and Higgins used it cleverly. They played with colors, composition, rhythm, and broke the 9 panel composition to achieve certain effects. Each panel was different, and comic reads very smoothly. King's Miracleman is just jarring, claustrophobic, and filled with recycled art. At least this issue is not as bad as the previous ones.
