here are my thoughts as I was watching it. spoilers obviously.

>Helga’s locket picture looks like the really early Arnold model

>yeah, Mr. Simmons is definitely gay
>they brought back Helga’s hot sister only so she could chase after shitskins; also, I dont remember her being quite so bimbo-ish
>”the chosen one” cliche
>I’m calling it right now: Eduardo is the bad guy
>using random foreign words as if they were proper nouns triggers my linguistic autism
>I suppose the Helga confession was bound to happen at some point
>I can’t remember how much comedic squash and stretch was used in the original show, so I can’t say if balloon-Eugene is too abnormal or not; it still feels like it, though

>I’m wondering how Mr. Simmons got permission to take children to a foreign country, hosted by a fake charity; there’s so much damn bureaucracy involved in the public education system that I can’t suspend my disbelief enough to excuse that

not the best thing I’ve ever seen, but the closure was nice. hopefully this will be it and they wont try to use this to jump-start a new series.
