I can't think of a better mouthpiece for feminism than a blubbery animal that's famed for it's low intellect and sluggish nature.

So after reading all of this and realizing it's the same hack who wrote the newer, awful Shadow comics, I have to wonder who keeps giving this hack work. His shit is derivative as fuck, and any remotely entertaining ideas he might have are overshadowed by his massive ham-fists, as he waves them about trying to make some grandiloquent allegory about humanity and society, all while writing an especially derivative take on a well-worn character archetype that's been done to death for centuries.

It's like he was trying so hard to tell a feminist fairy tale that he just ends up ripping off Little Mermaid, Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast, because feminism doesn't actually lend itself to storytelling. Given the blurb at the end about how the whole story is an allegory for humans not questioning tradition, it's hard to say that this might get better later on.

But every clichè they used here is Disney level. And boy, did they usde a lot of cliches, they saw Happy Feet and they added Disney princess, and boom they had this comic.
