I guess those 5 issues in a row of it being a dream were a mistake?

I love it when writers get to have long lasting runs and I really miss the days when a writer would get at least a 50-100 issues run and really tell a story with thematic arcs/plot threads but King's Batman has been one of the most unenjoyable comics since rebirth and I can't wait to see who takes it over since it can only get better. Hopefully Priest gets the job because that dude has been wanting it for decades and he might actually be a good fit for NuBatman and his Deathstroke is sick.

I haven't read Batman regularly since Batman RIP all those years ago but I read one issue of King's Batman and I swear to God I was having a brain aneurysm. It was just pages of pretentious drivel. I'm amazed it took DC this long to get him off the book

Pic related.
However, Priest would be a decent replacement. He is a competent writer and would do better job than at least half of DC's creators based on that alone.
Gene Yang would be interesting to see. His Chinese Superman was decent, had a lot of decent ideas, and Yang seems like a person who could create some new interesting characters and stories without shitting all over what came before. This is something that long running characters desperately need.

I heard that DC was starting to get annoyed with Bendis. Chinese Superman was really good and underrated.

Who the fuck cares, the big 2 are WWE levels of cultural irrelevance. There's no chance of them reviving the glory days so all they can do is go down.
I hope Bendis gets on just to move the clock closer to the end time
