That's a different style to the actual show. I watched maybe a dozen episodes of it as background noise and it wasn't actually that bad in terms of story, but the art was atrocious. Then again, maybe that's because they just half-heartedly rip off episodes of the original series.
Similar to Be Cool Scooby Doo; terrible art and early writing, then better writing crops up but still can't save the show.
