It's alienating. The post counts for boards are health, there are so many people to engage with, but it's like you're talking to robots.

I guess is this has been happening to a small extent since the 90's with increasing numbers of people with access to the internet. I first started posting on internet communities in 2002 and none of this was that big a problem until maybe 2011? 2012? Some sites would go to shit for whatever reason, getting flooded by new people being one reason, but in the early 2010s it started happening to every site rapidly.

You anons don't know how lucky you are. Guess comics aren't a hot topic for newfags. Honestly I wish I could just isolate myself with people age 25+. I've talked to even underage guys who were interested and I like them, but they're pretty rare.

The only way to get good threads is to make quality OPs, but the more time people spend on each post the more the thread gets buried under low-effort template threads. /co/ might be a place slow enough to be able to write in-depth, but its got its own problem in that there's very little currently coming out that's even worth talking about - or when there is it's so obscure it's hard to find people even on /co/ who know about it.

One thing I do know is that a really autistic and passionate anon can make a big difference even if they just share what they like and make a good thread. Everyday churn and shitposting don't get remembered, but threads that people bring their passion to do.

/pol/tards are constantly derailing, and if you're not somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun you're somehow a raider from /leftypol/.

Mods are indifferent, it's hard to give a shit about a board whose leaders seem to be sympathetic with the raiders because they share the same politics.

Have you considered your threads were garbage from the start? Becuase they only target really fucking specific threads or behavior. Like that horrible /b/ style ben 10 thread ripped straight cuckchan, some faggot not webm a YouTube video and expects people to watch the shit, shills who dont storytime or any instance where reddit or tumblr sticks out their filthy little head.
