>Aaron said that he reads the original novels since he was a teen
Yeah, just like all of the faggots from the comics industry who claim to be huge fans of' and 'heavily influenced by' Kirby's and Ditko's work, but only signs of that in their work are superficial elements like Kirby dots and acid trip visuals. Based off of his twitter, he is a fan of the aesthetic but other than he is just another typical Marvel hack. He is no better than Lovercraft 'fans' who think that tentacles, fish people, and kilng in yellow is all there is to it.
Closest book to Conan that Aaron wrote is GodDamned, and it was not very good. It also had black Noah and Cain being the 'good guy,' so make of that what you will. I went through his twitter history as well, and Aaron's oldest mention of Conan and E. Howard coincidentally happens when it was announced that Marvel got Conan rights.
Hopefully I will be proven wrong.
