I've never been big into The Simpsons, mostly because their regional dub just accentuated the slurs and raunchy commentary instead of translating the jokes, but I'm impressed by the wit of some of the earlier seasons. What is/are your favorite joke/s from Season 10-backwards?
Mine's gotta be a small skit during the Be-Sharps episode, when Chief Wiggum is watching talk shows roasting his ass for not being on the band anymore. It's so short but it's comedy at its finest. It's all the little pieces that by themselves are already kind of funny but put together make it even better:
>he shoots at the TV to turn it off
>he has Stormtrooper aim so he keeps missing it
>his wife shouts at him telling him to stop doing this shit again, meaning it's a recurring habit
>he misplaced the remote in his holster, meaning that he just has to have done so on purpose
>he switches to another talk show where he gets roasted one final time
>instead of switching off the tv he throws the fucking gun at it
I just don't know why but I can't stop thinking about it.
