Unless you spend a lot of time digging into the hollywood news, it's easy to believe this shit is somehow noteworthy or special. It's not. They've got nothing other than the vague plans to make a movie. There's not even a script yet, by their own admission. Chances are this whole project will fall through when investors show no interest in an obese superhero that no has ever heard of, from a comic publisher that's barely alive these days.

I heard about the Faith movie, and my mind has been wracked trying to figure out a way for this to not be a complete pile of shit. It's… an odd mental exercise to say the least.

Honestly, why? I'm guessing they're hoping to make it some stupid funny crap. They've already realized they can get big money from funny shit after Guardians of the Galaxy, and I'm sure in the near future we'll see 80s aesthetic and try-hard jokes get so tiring we're going to wish Superhero movies were serious again. Or that they didn't exist, but I know that's how everyone feels already.
