Code Hunter. Also, it's the other way around, Borderlands' artstyle was inspired by Code Hunter. When Cuck Levine couldn't hire the artist for Code Hunter, they went forward with it anyway and used the style. It's a pretty shameful part of Borderlands's history, any game after the first not accounted for. BL1 was pretty fun actually. Sure, it lacks multiple active abilities, no minimap or FOV slider, and several other QoL stuff that was included later, but it had style and good loot. Guns lasted for several levels, unlike in BL2 and onwards, where you have to switch out guns all the time as you level up. I used to have a lvl 38 Explosive Hammer, was still using that bastard at lvl 52. Great gun.
