You got a bunch wrong there.
Interfaces just define a bunch of methods other classes then have to implement. Interfaces are also entirely abstract, which is the main point here, there can't be any code in them. An interface cannot have variables because an interface doesn't exist in memory, it's just a signature defining methods.
An abstract class is just a class with at least one abstract method which needs to be implemented.
Neither of them can be realized without a child class.

No, cycles is exactly where goto is a bad idea. goto breaks the flow of your program, and makes it hard to follow for everyone involved, including you in a few weeks. If you have five nested loops, you need to rethink your code, not use goto as a get out of jail free card, cause your code is basically gonna be unreadable.
A place where goto can be used cleanly is for error handling for example. Let's say you have 4 or 5 checks in a function and each of them does the same thing in case of an error (print out a message, change a variable, return a value) then instead of copy-pasting the error code 5 times you can put "goto error;" and then, AFTER the function return; statement, you put the error: label. That's clean and easy to read and makes your function less heavy, and more maintainable.

Open back are generally more fragile and yes, sound is basically free to go in and out. Meaning any ambient sound gets added to your music, and your music graces the ears of everyone around you. Also in *general* open backs need quite a bit of driving, so you'll be carrying your amp around and it's just a mess.
Basically planar magnetics convey sound to your ears in a completely different way than regular headphones (which are called Dynamic headphones).

My code runs in an infinite game loop. The "tick" mechanism used is a API::WAIT(0); at the end of the loop, so I'm stuck to that due to how the game handles "threads". The API functions only work in a single thread.
Now I have implemented a menu, where on some trigger I want to do an action. To be concrete, when I choose/press the "Engine" option, the player character should play an animation of indeterminate but finite duration and then the vehicle engine should turn on.
I achieved this as following:
When the trigger is activated, I push_back my std::bind(functions)-ed into a vector of std::functions.
The animation starts playing and the API offers a way of finding the animation progress, and on a set progress number I run my vector of functions.
Everything works, no problems, I released the mod. Using C++11-specific features does feel like overkill, and I can't think of a way to achieve the same functionality (delayed function calls).
Would the C-alternative be having a (dynamically allocated) array of structs containing function pointers and any amount of arguments? How would you even store generic arguments in the struct?

I don't think C++11 is overkill, but if you really wanna do it old school yes, the pure C way to do it is to have a linked list of structs containing function pointers.
There's a few ways to have generic arguments in structs, some are more clean than others.
- In C++, you can define a struct called "callbackParams" and have child classes for each of your functions (EngineCallbackParam, etc). Then your callbacks just take a pointer to a callbackParam, and you can just cast it to the proper type upon receiving the parameters in your function.
- In pure C, I'd create a system where I can wrap() and unwrap() paramaters using the variable arguments functions (va_start etc). For different types, just use void* and cast it upon reception in the function. I belive C++ also has a variable argument implementation.
