Sure, if you're the executive why not. Most likely you're making an income off more than just your primary company though. That used to be really rare, and it's only recently balooned out of control. Part of it has to do with corporations getting too big for their own good, and then people at the top are obviously smart enough to have several sources of large income, up to and including stock market revenues, which is bad for the economy on the whole because an over inflated stock market creates a lot of tenuous bubbles and risk.
