How is Yoko best girl? Easy not only is she physically beautiful but she is genuinely a nice person, competent in her field without being an omnipotent sue, not a prude but not a slut, a team player, level headed, etc… I could go on forever but to make it short shes basically the anti-bitch. And what reward does she get in the end for this? A life as a lonely spinster in a one room shack.
They tease a thing with Simon only to have her choose Kamina which is fine actually hes clearly the superior choice at this point so I can't blame her no homo Then Kamina promptly dies so you think okay simon time but nope an absolute trash heap of a sue is shoehorned in instead. The sue goes evil, then dies and they even tease it one last time when the ring drops right at Yoko's feet but then nope he just fucks off to be a traveling hermit. And before someone accuses me of being a shipper I would have been perfectly okay with her ending up with that blond low rent Kamina whos name I forget but no they had to kill him too. Honestly I just think she deserved better.
I haven't seen the movies or any supplemental materials yet so I'm hoping they pull a eva and have a more satisfying ending but for now I'm fucking livid.
