Pacing is completely fucked past (I think) the half-way point. Before that, the animu featured some pretty good drama. I don't know the exact point it went wrong, since I'm only up to Enies Lobby in either version.

No idea why everyone in the western fanbase hates Skypeia. It's basically One Piece in a nutshell. Every single element that Oda puts throughout the story can be found in that single arc.

This. I honestly wish the Cruise games could be as adventurous, or that the new Open World game was following the East Blue saga instead of that simplistic new plot. Yet most monkeys still prefer the One Piece cruise games as is for whatever reason. Anyway, anyone else surprised Oda didn't go on break this week?

From what I understand the new schedule is every two weeks there is a break. For example, this week is a break. I just wish Oda would wrap up the Katakuri fight already, but hopefully that’s next chapter.
