At first glance they look like shows for girls, but hen you see it's made for the male demographic. What's the difference between moe anime/manga for young boys and moe anime/manga for young men?

 No.5911

I thought the thumbnail said semen.

None.

People think that every shounen magazine is normie stuff like WSJ and publishes nothing but battle shounen, which is not true. While shounen magazines won't publish something too adult, everything that just floats in-between, like moe, can be published in either one: K-On is seinen while Kamichu is shounen.

Lucky Star and Flying Witch are examples of shonen, then there's K-on and Non Non Biyori as examples of seinen.

The power levels and tournament arcs shit. This is all found in Jump's magazines, but you get dumb anons thinking that Jump's tropes are all that shonen is while ignoring the existence of other shonen magazines and their more different manga.

How is K-On seinen? Everyone acts like an unfunny retard. At least Non Non Biyori gives you a sense of nostalgia and comfort which caters to men, K-On just makes me feel rage.

>How is K-On seinen?

It's moeshit aimed at a male 16+ years old audience?

>A shonen like Flying Witch is more mature than a Seinen like K-On.

Neither tournament arcs nor powerlevels are shounen tropes

It feels more like something aimed at female middle schoolers/high schoolers rather than males ones.

Maybe instead of deciding what genre a show is by going with whatever magazine they're published in or what the author called it, we should just look at the themes of the show and the characters and think about if the audience it was trying to appeal to would actually be interested in such things.

K-On appeals to girls by making the characters act more like 3DPD than in other shows and it has shit like them talking about their weight and breast size in it, meanwhile Non Non is a slow, visually beautiful show which can be comforting to watch for someone with a hectic lifestyle while the main characters act in a way that's similar to that of both young girls and boys alike.

Do you think anons that hate shonen hate shonen like Lucky Star and Nichijou?

Shounen Moe is usually cute girls being crazy and whacky, so you can imagine the're the cutie in your class you could waifu. Seinen Moe is cute girls being extra cute doing normal things, so you can imagine daughteruing them.
