In the US it may be theorethically illegal or it may fall under free speech due to being an artistic expression.

In Austria, there's a law that specifically says drawn underage stuff is still CP, even if it's abstract.

It's an odd legal grey area involving a law that is based on subjectivity and is technically unconstitutional, making loli illegal in the US "only when someone wants it to be illegal." It's stupid but only one person without real CP got hosed by it and both him and his lawyer were retards. It's unenforceable 99.9% of the time due to the nature of the whole thing, and if they ever bust someone for it and they have money to burn, the law will get ripped apart by higher courts.

My understanding of the Japan AoC law is that any prefecture can set their own age of consent as long as it's not below the national limit of 13 years—but each prefecture has set it to be at least 17 or at least 18 or some other babayaga number like that.
