No.5305
A cozy manga about a girl living with her monster teacher who is under a pretty fucked up curse. Let's hope it doesn't go Usagi Drop
No.5312
This is actually another good shonen from the same magazine as Ancient Magus Bride.

So while people were fellating the magazine for not following the Jump formula, they were just aware they have their own separate forumula?

If they don't rely on formula the magazine need to wait for a good author to randomly comes into their office to show off their one shot. They would be bankrupt before that happens.

>shonen
Does it classify as shonen, though?
>ancient magus bride
Kills me to say this, and I haven't read it yet, but is looks so similar it makes me wonder it was a suits decision to just make more of the same because Ancient Magus Bride was so popular.
No.17550
O snap, I started reading this from the /tg/ thread. I like it, especially the art. Damn now I need to see if it updated.

Yes, now stop being a fucking retard and understand what being a "Shounen" means.
No.17568

>Does it classify as shonen, though?
Yes it's shonen, it's marketed to shonen and comes from a shonen magazine called the Monthly Comic Garden. Ancient Magus Bride is also shonen and from the same magazine. Your idea of shonen is probably due to looking at the popular shit Jump produces. Not all shonen comes from Jump. Mitsuboshi Colors, Flying Witch and Lucky Star are also shonen. There are many shonen magazines outside of Jump you should check out.
>it makes me wonder it was a suits decision to just make more of the same because Ancient Magus Bride was so popular.
It's just a thing in the Monthly Comic Garden. Like how power levels and "wanting to be king of ____" is a thing in Jump.

Really good manga. It is quite sad, yet comfy. Shiva and the teacher manage to find enjoyment in a harsh world.

I've had it in my backlog for some time, but it's kind of obvious it's only a copycat of magus bride.
