People presumed it was originally shit under the lie that it flopped, so people didn't mind. It would've otherwise gotten backlash.

Also, the difference is how they dubbed it, as Anon said some posts above.GS was going for edgy shock humor, or did they forget that they bash or mocked both faggots, Christians , kikes, anime itself and more? Also, it's very different to take a jab at your audience, and actively wanting to offend them, without even shielding yourself with "it's a gag dub, guize".
