Fuck, nostalgia. I remember seeing so much of these legendary images back then, not just Dragon Ball, but also thumbnails of covers from actual doujins posted and reposted to people's personal websites, always claiming it was some new series coming out and shit in Japan that we wouldn't see for years :^). Along with stolen nip pixel art gifs or oekaki with kana that nobody knew what it said. I almost miss the autism of web 1.0 type sites. I recently found out I had saved pretty much the entire directory of people's personal sites off a server that someone my brother knew was letting people host their shit on. Not maliciously, I was just a dumb kid that wasn't good with computers and didn't have any business shitposting at that age. Decided to go through it just to revel in the autism. So many jews and goth jewesses with badly drawn furry OCs, pokemon porn, misc anime titties, and other degenerate stupid shit. It was fun. I went ahead and deleted it though, no reason to keep it.
Pretty sure I could have doxed one of them too. He left way too much information on his site. Age, rough location, name, photo, email address, some background info like who his friends/family were. 10/10 lolcow bullying material if I was in the mood for it.

If you were interested in Dragon Ball and actually used the internet back then, then no it was not even close to isolated, newfag. This shit was all over the place when you searched for DB shit online. Free fan sites hosted on geocities, angelfire, tripod, etc. usually had some kind of "exciting proof of the next DB anime/manga," a shit load of gifs from the SNES games, animated AIM icons, and grainy 144p animated gifs and screenshots from DBZ or the movies. Also badly drawn Bulma porn or DBZ OCs, kek.

I sort of got that it was fake, but I was always curious what the fuck it was and where it came from, since nobody would ever tell you even if they knew and weren't just reposting what somebody else told them.
