A much better argument would be to link to any of the many scientific studies which report finding physical differences in the brains of trans people. Throw in a bit of philosophy to show that "you" are only your mind and that your body is just a vehicle, and you have a coherent argument.
Also, you have to admit that the current methods of modifying the body to match the mind are extremely crude and primitive. The human body is an incredibly intricate machine and we know very little about how it works and how to instruct it to modify itself. To use the building analogy, we're trying to convert a prison into a hotel but the only tools we have are high explosives and some tins of paint.
PS. There are legitimate problems of money influencing scientific results, but those can't be fixed by telling people to be distrustful of science in general, especially since most people do not have enough time or background knowledge to accurately assess the validity of a given paper. Hell, half the papers are locked behind paywalls so you can't read them unless you're at a university. Any real solution needs to start by changing the priorities of the major journals to encourage publishing negative results and verifying reproducibility. The current peer review process only verifies that the results are plausible, not reproducible.

I don't hate trans people. I don't claim to have the right to tell you what to do with your own body. I firmly believe in your right to life, liberty, and happiness. In fact, I'd love nothing more than to see everyone have access to perfect body-modification technology. It would solve a lot of my own problems if such technology existed.
I'm posting this because I don't want you to be misled into believing transition is an easy or pleasant process. Our medical technology is still extremely crude and we simply do not have the ability to make you indistinguishable from a cis woman.
The examples you give are an absolute best case scenario. Vaginoplasty often leaves something which looks more like a wound than a vagina, and the rates of complications are pretty scary (pdf related). A uterus transplant is only slightly more plausible than a head/body transplant. You'd likely be stuck on immune-suppressants for the next 50 years and certainly couldn't even dream of having a child. The biggest issue is that a plastic surgeon would not be able to reshape your bone structure to give you a feminine face, unless you're lucky enough to already be very effeminate.
We haven't even figured out basic shit like how to make good electrical interfaces to nerves for prosthetics. Despite all the research that's been put into organ cloning, we haven't even started using that in hospitals yet.
By all means, have the surgery if you think it's the best option, but at least acknowledge the fact that it's being performed by hairless apes wielding knives. Practical medicine lags a long way behind theoretical biology, and we aren't even close to understanding the human body on a theoretical level yet.

I think you're grouping different people in the same box for some contradiction strawman, or confusing idealism for practice.
I mean the problem is, a lot of the concept of gender is a social construct. It's based off sexual dimorphism, and there's apparently some kind of gender instinct, but life doesn't have manufactured standards so some people are some degree of intersex, some people don't have attraction to opposite sex so are kind of useless at conventional reproduction, and some people have the wrong gender instincts for their sex which throws off idealistic social constructs.
And it's mostly a social construct, because really, how much of gender segregation and trends actually have something to do with reproduction. Even things that had roots in being mating rituals or pairing off have mostly lost that meaning.
In general, transpeople trying too hard to fit into binary is a result of of culture that hammers binary gender so hard. I mean plenty are also fine with binary if they're on the other side, but a lot of societies don't want them on the other side either. Some people with non-binary identities are transpeople over that and just trying to embrace the whole, not modeled for societies standards thing.
A lot of transsexuals aren't looking for more genders though. Some might seek refuge in non-binary identities, or only have mild dysphoria, but I think it's generally more gays and aces that seek non-binary identities. Some transpeople are happy to throw non-binary genders under a bus while others are sympathetic enough to the idealism. More selfishly though, people claiming there is only two genders are usually bunching sex in with gender and want to force gender roles. So it's obvious why someone would be upset by that kind of trolling or activism.

Looks like one of them Chinese imports. I think they're called like Yuyun or Fuubuu… maybe both. Better to the get the cloth type ones (they feel like tent fabric) instead of the plastic type ones as the later tend to deteriorate pretty quick (wash your hands before touching them and try not to get any oils on them at all).
They're like "all in one" type deals, but you can wear them over disposable to make them thicker.
There's also plain cloth ones (with velcro tabs) you can use as doublers.
They're really cheap, but the over seas import costs are kind of expensive.
