Insurance premiums are bullshit as is. That's like blaming the Jews for being Jewish during the Holocaust, the problem isn't that they were Jewish, the problem was the Holocaust happening at all. Furthermore, if you want to get mad at people for doing stupid shit and going to the hospital, this isn't that bad compared to some other stuff. Again, this is the clean side of a dirty diaper. Risk of infection is rather minimal. That's why hospital bugs are strong and resistant, because the hospital is where most careless antibiotic use and over sanitization occurs. The germs on your hands just from walking around can become like this and cause problems. That's anyone who enters a hospital's fault, not just people with infections. Those are, again, a drop in the ocean for that problem.
